Intuit Mailchimp is a leading marketing platform for small businesses. We empower millions of customers around the world to build their brands and grow their companies with a suite of marketing automation, multi channel campaigns, CRM, and analytics tools.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to work with a high performing group of software engineers to help Mailchimp deliver a cohesive, differentiated customer experience on mailchimp.com. We design and build the infrastructure to support Marketing’s go-to-market campaign efforts globally, maintain the site's performance, and identify site-wide opportunities to optimize journeys that help prospects & users accomplish their core tasks on the website.

In this position we seek someone excited to work with a dynamic, diverse group of engineers and managers who are all used to wearing multiple hats to get the job done. We seek someone comfortable with supporting requirement definition, continual prioritization, and the development of the operational processes supporting emerging technical and product capabilities to support our MarTech teams.

Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, comfortable managing a distributed team and leading with influence instead of relying on managerial authority. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and refine opportunities for solving partner needs. We’re looking for someone who has a desire to constantly improve things (processes and technology), and be willing to challenge the status quo when appropriate.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta, GA office two or more days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in and cultivate a culture of direct, compassionate feedback. Engage in a results-oriented work style, and encourage transparent communication. Facilitate effective collaboration and teamwork
  • Coach, mentor decision making, problem solving, and identify and sponsor growth opportunities for your team
  • Work with the engineering department leadership to iterate on the strategic MarTech Roadmap
  • Continually prioritize and assess the value proposition for each deliverable we’re investing in
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers working with a wide number of stakeholders and collaborators.
  • Foster candid conversations around process and solutioning with a growing internal customer base
  • Experiment and create highly innovative and revenue-driving top of funnel experiences on mailchimp.com
  • Work cross functionally with product, design, marketing, legal, analytics, Gen AI and people teams to help define and scope their objectives while ensuring our solutions remain robust and scalable

Qualifications

  • Enjoy defining processes and operation across a wide customer base utilizing the same tools and data
  • Plus if you have a strong understanding of Content Management Systems, Gen AI, MarTech
  • You’re a strong written and verbal communicator, able to distill and convey complex ideas to audiences with varying levels of technical depth
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Desire to work in a highly-collaborative environment, and actively contribute requirement definition, roadmap planning, team-level office hours, etc.

Plus if you have experience with

  • Content Management Systems (CMS), Contentful would be A+, MarTech, Gen AI for marketing
  • Leading a team of full stack engineers
  • Implementing international solutions for your website, not limited to localization and personalization
