Job Overview
Join the Intuit Virtual Expert Platform (VEP), Business Solutions team as a Staff Business
Systems Analyst (BSA). Intuit BSAs focus on the systems and technology supporting
business processes; providing a strong understanding of application systems,
recommending changes, identifying impacted interfaces, and working with technical teams to implement them through:
- Utilizing business processes and technology systems to optimize operations and accelerate organizational goals.
- Effectively use tools and techniques to gather, interpret, and synthesize data to drive effective decision-making and solutions development.
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and develop innovative solutions that address complex business problems.
- Effectively optimizing technology solutions to solve complex technical problems, deliver value and improve business operations.
- Guiding cross-functional teams to deliver against strategy and objectives through effective communication, strategic planning, and mentoring.
In this role you will partner cross-functionally to develop solutions for software capabilitiesused in strategic initiatives, VEP migrations, integrations, and consolidation and/or scaling of 3P tools used by the Sales and Care teams.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering technology solutions
within a platform with a services-oriented architecture. In addition, this person must have a
demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Operations across the Intuit ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document as-is process flows, redesigned processes, and procedures to optimize business processes and improve technology capabilities.
- Synthesize requirements and assess the impact of initiatives across core business processes to develop and validate process roadmaps.
- Partner with Product Management to drive discussions to ensure the necessary data for design and requirement decisions is readily available.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions within software tools and capabilities, and contribute to the development and proposal of larger scope solutions.
- Synthesize business system requirements from multiple sources, such as customer feedback, data analysis, and input from cross-functional teams.
- Define prototypes required to support new systems or processes, validate prototypes and share with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs and system requirements.
- Develop system functional test plans and execution of the plans to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Leverage technology expertise to identify and solve complex business problems, ensuring that end-to-end thinking is employed and solutions meet the expectations of the customer and Intuit.
- Make recommendations on alternative technology approaches to ensure the organization aligns with the latest technology trends and solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to help facilitate their professional development.
Qualifications
- A self-motivated person who can influence cross-functional, cross-geo teams, promoting timely and effective communication.
- Strong understanding of business process redesign principles, tools, and techniques and experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Ability to develop and gain acceptance for proposed solutions and business cases with senior-level technical and business leaders.
- Strong understanding of system options, impact analyses, and gap analyses to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for technology solutions.
- Advanced understanding of analytical tools and data analysis to support business processes and decision-making.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of specific applications within software tools and capabilities, and ability to apply them across major functional boundaries.
- Strong ability to break down complex problems into manageable issues to be solved quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to develop business systems solutions and hypotheses, consider multiple perspectives, identify alternative solutions and opportunities, and build consensus among stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile development and methodologies.
- Effective and persuasive presentations (verbal and written) appropriate for project teams and business leaders.
- Strong team player with energy, enthusiasm and detail orientation to produce high quality deliverables in a fast paced environment.
- Familiarity & experience with software platforms such as Salesforce, Amazon
- Connect, Seismic, Gainsight, Playvox, Maestro, Gong, Ironclad, Loom, Loopio, Sprinklr, and Qualtrics.
- BS or BA Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $158,000 - 214,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
