Job Overview
Come join the "Intuit Data Team" and get involved in building the next generation data platform for Intuit. Intuit is on a mission to democratize data (data mesh) at scale and this team is building the foundational components for Real Time Analytics. We are looking for someone who has passion for data and can write awesome code.
Responsibilities
- Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring fellow engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and leading a small team solving challenging programming and design problems
- Use your coding expertise to design and implement scalable, modular and secure services.
- Work as part of a fast-paced scrum team.
- Develop, test and deploy your own code.
- Leading the gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing in Java
- Experience with developing backend services using Java, Spring boot.
- Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS is preferred)
- Experience developing IAC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform or AWS CDK/Cloudformation etc
- Experience with OLAP DB (Druid/StarRocks/or any other) will be a huge plus
- Experience with Data Lake, Kafka, schema modeling, Kubernetes will be a plus.
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in agile teams.
- Solid communication skills
- Strong understanding of the Software fundamentals.
- Experience with testing as you will be responsible for testing your own code.
- Experience with AWS and working with large scale systems.
