Job Overview
The Customer Success team is focused on engaging and growing our customers throughout their Mailchimp journey. Our team uses a consultative approach to guide customers through their customer lifecycle, surfacing ideas, innovations, integrations, and capabilities in support of our customers’ business goals. We share a commitment to delivering the best possible experiences to drive adoption, growth, and customer advocacy. We connect with key influencers and power users to evaluate the strength of our business relationship, dig for pain points, gather and document product feedback, act as a product advocate, and relay important communications directly to our customers. We collaborate internally with Customer Care, Product, Marketing, Sales and Research to provide a connected experience for our customers.
As the EMEA Customer Success Leader you will define and develop the EMEA Customer retention strategy and contribute directly to the Global Craft playbook. You will be a member of the EMEA leadership team as well as a member of the Global Customer Success leadership team. You’ll develop relationships with customers and partners that promote retention and loyalty, with a focus on improving lifetime value and reducing churn. You will ensure that all customers are successfully using the Mailchimp platform and will be your customer’s single point of contact for questions regarding their business. You will be accountable for delivering against a net revenue retention target for your region.
Qualifications
- You have demonstrable experience in building large-scale customer-facing teams.
- You have a builder’s mindset and operational focus coupled with leadership and craft development background.
- You have SaaS experience with eCommerce and/or MarTech focus.
- You have a strong track record of delivering strong net revenue retention results.
- You have a proven ability to help customers grow year over year.
- You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- You have patience and enthusiasm for explaining complex concepts to a diverse audience.
- You have experience in mitigating attrition.
- You have the ability to communicate the value of services in the context of customer’s goals.
- You pay attention to detail, follow-through, and are accountable.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of our target customers in the EMEA region and their needs.
- Define and develop EMEA Customer retention and expansion strategy in partnership with the Global Customer Success organization by evaluating our current customer base and their needs.
- Work with global cross functional teams to ensure key dependencies are addressed to deliver against that strategy (e.g., technology, enablement, marketing, lineup team)
- Design the organization required to deliver against these goals. Develop investment asks to grow the team and put in place strong experimentation / measurement plans to demonstrate traction against target outcomes.
- Hire exceptional talent to join this team and actively grow and develop talent on the team.
- Deliver against in-year retention and expansion revenue goals.
- Serve as a member of the EMEA leadership team, playing a key role in developing and executing against the end-to-end strategy strategy that delivers target regional growth outcomes.
- Synthesize market intelligence and local voice of the customer to share with the broader Mailchimp organization and influence roadmaps against key functions based on regional priorities.
