Job Overview
About Intuit:
Our mission is to power prosperity around the world. Intuit is the global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses prosper. We're a mission-driven, global financial technology company that creates products and tools to help you manage your money, get out of debt, and make smart financial decisions. We're known for products like QuickBooks, Mailchimp TurboTax, and Credit Karma. At our core, we are deeply customer-obsessed, relentlessly focused on solving our customers' most important problems and tenaciously delivering profound benefits that help them prosper.
About the Team:
To predict the future, we must create it—and at Intuit, that’s exactly what we’re doing.
The CEO Transformation Office is a newly formed, high-impact organization reporting directly to the CEO. Its mission is to mobilize the company around what matters most, shape the market, and accelerate Intuit’s transformation into the world’s leading global financial platform and system of intelligence.
This team sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, creativity, and execution. We bring together communications, creative, narrative development, and flagship events and experiences under one unified organization to ensure Intuit shows up with clarity, consistency, and conviction—internally and externally. From customers and prospects to media and investors, we shape how Intuit’s vision comes to life in the world.
At the heart of our work is a bold future: surrounding customers with a virtual team of AI agents and human intelligence that does the work for them and powers their prosperity. To deliver on that promise, we operate with a high say/do ratio, a bias for action, and an uncompromising focus on impact. We don’t just tell the story—we help drive the outcomes.
Joining the CEO Transformation Office means working on the company’s most visible, mission-critical initiatives, partnering with senior leaders across the business, and helping define how Intuit’s strategy is experienced by the world. This is a team for builders, storytellers, and operators who want to shape the future—not react to it.
The opportunity:
We’re not just building technology—we’re dedicated to delivering real, positive impact on people’s financial lives. Intuit’s mission is to power prosperity around the world for consumers, small businesses and the self-employed. The Brand Storytelling and Experiences group brings that mission to life through high-impact and transformative campaigns and experiences around the globe all designed to shape, showcase, and demonstrate the power and meaning behind the Intuit ecosystem.
We inspire customers with a variety of live and virtual events and galvanize our 19,000+ employees around what matters most to our customers with best-in-class storytelling. This cross-functional, high-performing team serves as a center of excellence for the company and includes experts across video, experience design, strategic content, event production, experiential marketing and more.
As a Senior Motion Designer you will drive ideation and execution of 2D and 3D motion design and animation across multiple campaigns and touchpoints. You will elevate the craft of motion design by bringing a wealth of experience and external inspiration to continuously raise the bar. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role accountable for creative concepting, previsualization and animation working directly with design, copy, video and strategy partners and reporting to the Senior Creative Producer, Video.
This role will be based in the L.A. Culver City office 3x per week for best collaboration and career growth. Remote, working on PST or EST may be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do
- This is a hands-on role in development and animation of world class motion design for internal and external-facing projects (brand campaigns, organic social, GTM initiatives) and events (live, virtual, and hybrid).
- At times you’ll work directly with a Motion Design CD, at others you’ll work directly with Content and Strategy Directors, or as a partner with cross functional teams from brand and experiential design.
- You’ll work alongside and learn from experienced creative leaders and collaborators with deep backgrounds across motion, brand, and experiential design, spanning both top-tier studios and in-house teams.
- You’ll lead internal and external teams, leaning in whenever necessary to drive best outcomes.
- You’ll operate with meaningful ownership within a collaborative creative direction model, where review, iteration, and shared accountability are central to delivering the best work.
- Use insights and deep customer empathy to develop and pitch creative concepts.
- Collaborate to inform overall design direction for events and campaigns and translate that direction into elegant, elevated motion design.
- Manage and give direction to external motion design partners and agencies.
- Work closely with internal and external video producers and editors managing post workflows for motion graphics in video deliverables.

- An audience-first approach to your storytelling where you can use audience and marketing insights, and empathy to inform and justify your creative.
- Ability to express abstract ideas like intelligence, decision-making, or trust through motion.
Adaptability
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping clarity from incomplete inputs, including navigating multiple stakeholders and perspectives.

- Experience in other related motion design tools (eg, Unreal Engine, Cavalry, Rive, Processing, DaVinci, Nuke are a plus)

Collaboration
- A collaborative mindset. As a Senior Motion Design Lead, you will be accountable for end-to-end development and animation both as a singular driver and as a contributor in collaboration with others.
