We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
About Intuit:
Our mission is to power prosperity around the world. Intuit is the global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses prosper.
We're a mission-driven, global financial technology company that creates products and tools to help you manage your money, get out of debt, and make smart financial decisions. We're known for products like QuickBooks, Mailchimp TurboTax, and Credit Karma.
At our core, we are deeply customer-obsessed, relentlessly focused on solving our customers' most important problems and tenaciously delivering profound benefits that help them prosper.
About the team:
To predict the future, we must create it—and at Intuit, that’s exactly what we’re doing.
The CEO Transformation Office is a newly formed, high-impact organization reporting directly to the CEO. Its mission is to mobilize the company around what matters most, shape the market, and accelerate Intuit’s transformation into the world’s leading global financial platform and system of intelligence.
This team sits at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, creativity, and execution. We bring together communications, creative, narrative development, and flagship events and experiences under one unified organization to ensure Intuit shows up with clarity, consistency, and conviction—internally and externally. From customers and prospects to media and investors, we shape how Intuit’s vision comes to life in the world.
At the heart of our work is a bold future: surrounding customers with a virtual team of AI agents and human intelligence that does the work for them and powers their prosperity. To deliver on that promise, we operate with a high say/do ratio, a bias for action, and an uncompromising focus on impact. We don’t just tell the story—we help drive the outcomes.
Joining the CEO Transformation Office means working on the company’s most visible, mission-critical initiatives, partnering with senior leaders across the business, and helping define how Intuit’s strategy is experienced by the world. This is a team for builders, storytellers, and operators who want to shape the future—not react to it.
The opportunity:
This senior role sits at the intersection of product design, motion design, and strategic storytelling. You’ll visualize, prototype, and communicate Intuit’s product future through product storyboards and demos — especially across AI-powered systems, platforms, and intelligent workflows.
Motion design is not just a production layer applied at the end of product development. It is a core thinking tool—used to explore ideas, pressure-test assumptions, and make future-state product intelligence tangible. In this role, motion design and interaction are leveraged to clarify complex systems, establish credibility, and create emotional resonance, often for concepts that are early, abstract, or not yet built.
You will partner closely with Intuit designers, PMs, and engineers to ideate and prototype what Intuit’s products, workflows, and experiences could be in the future. This includes shaping speculative UI behaviors, defining interaction models, and directing narrative arcs that help teams understand not just what a product is, but why it exists and how it should feel in use.
This role requires polished craft execution, production expertise, and strong storytelling judgment. You will be expected to contribute at a high level — calling out what is required to tell a clear, compelling product story; identifying gaps in logic or experience; and contributing to a quality bar that can scale across teams and surfaces. Your work will contribute to the canonical way Intuit communicates product vision, influencing customers, partners, executives, and internal stakeholders alike.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
Deliver for defining moments
- Design product demos and stories to be shown at flagship events, executive keynotes, internal transformation moments, pitching to external partners and galvanizing external audiences.
- Navigate fast-moving timelines while maintaining craft, clarity, and narrative integrity.
Use motion design as a strategic design language
- Treat motion design as a primary tool for thinking, prototyping, and storytelling—not just polish.
- Design motion-led product narratives that bring to life our latest innovations with thoughtful pacing, interaction, and transitions to communicate cause-and-effect, value, and trust.
Shape and visualize the product future state
- Work as a creative thought partner to Product Management and Product Design to visualize roadmaps, platform strategies, and future-state concepts.
- Design and prototype experiences for products and AI systems that are early, ambiguous, or not yet built—helping teams and audiences see what’s possible.
Help evolve the canon for demo storytelling
- Contribute to the evolution of Intuit’s demo storytelling language—how motion, interaction, narrative, and visual systems work together.
- Balance aspiration with credibility, ensuring stories are bold but grounded in real product logic.
Collaborate as a peer
- Work shoulder-to-shoulder with other Intuit designers, PMs, and engineers to bring the vision to life
- Collaborate with and lead vendors in support of your work.
- Influence without authority, aligning diverse partners around a shared narrative and experience vision.
Qualifications
What you bring
Experience
- 8–12+ years of experience in motion-led product design, interaction design, demo storytelling, or related fields.
- A portfolio that shows product innovation flows in Figma, that are then brought to life with clear and resonant storyboards and motion design.
Insight
- Experience visualizing future-state or speculative product concepts.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and shaping clarity from incomplete inputs.
- Exceptional narrative instincts—sense of pacing, emphasis, and emotional resonance.
- Ability to express abstract ideas like intelligence, automation, decision-making, or trust through motion.
Craft skills
- Mastery of Figma and After Effects in designing, animating, iterating and systemizing complex UI and storyboarding flows.
- Experience in other related interaction design tools (e.g., Principle, ProtoPie, or similar).
- Strong visual design fundamentals and systems thinking.
- Strong production acumen, with the ability to assess timelines, identify risks, and justify the most effective approach for the moment.
Collaboration
- Ability to elevate team-wide creative standards through collaborative influence, shared ownership, and leading by example in a low-ego, in-house environment.
- Proven ability to partner deeply with cross-functional peers in Product Management, Product Design, Engineering, and Creative teams.
- Clear, confident communicator who can articulate design intent and tradeoffs.
How you’ll make an impact
As part of the CEO Transformation Office, you’ll help bring Intuit’s future into focus—often before it exists. You’ll contribute to how emerging product ideas, intelligent systems, and platform strategies are visualized, understood, and trusted across the company and beyond.
Working alongside designers, product leaders, and storytellers, you’ll operate where design craft, product strategy, and narrative converge—using motion and interaction to make complex futures tangible and believable.
If you see yourself as a storyteller and builder, and want to use your skills to shape the future of intelligent products and UIs — this role is for you.
