Job Overview
If you are a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience and an active,unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to help our customerscomplete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax Business products. You will be working towardadvancing our goal of “Powering Prosperity Around the World” by providing expert guidance, taxpreparation, and explanations of tax and technical terms to our customers. You will also havethe opportunity to shape the direction of one our newest product offerings, TurboTax LiveBusiness, while working at the #11 ranked company on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies to WorkFor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex business tax returns forPartnerships, S-Corps, and multi-member LLCs. The ideal candidate will possess a strongknowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns,as well as significant experience in preparing and filing business and personal tax returns.
Qualifications
Must possess an active unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (CertifiedPublic Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.● Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws asevidenced by 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state businesstax returns (1065, 1120 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season forcompensation, using commercial tax preparation software.● Minimum of 3 seasons of paid personal Tax Preparation experience, with a minimum of30 tax returns per tax year required, in a tax practice or retail setting.● Bookkeeping experience, including books to tax preparation, strongly preferred.● Experience preparing Business Tax returns for service industry customers stronglypreferred.● Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, orbonds.● Must possess an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).● Working knowledge of Circular 230.● Proficient with technology; solid knowledge of computer operations and software.● Strong customer service skills – ability to interact with customers through video andaudio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.● Excellent verbal and written communication skills● Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills, and determination.● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.● Must have (or be willing to obtain) a dedicated hardwired internet connection that meetsIntuit Security criteria and a quiet location in which to work.

Responsibilities
This is a Remote, SelectTime customer-facing role; you will be using our state of the artvideo communications software (Smartlook) to interact with both business and individualcustomers.● Help TurboTax Business and personal tax customers who are working on their taxreturns or have delegated their tax returns with:o Tax adviceo Full Service Business and personal return preparation and signatureo Product/software inquireso Tax calculationso Filing tax extensions● Create high quality customer interactions and experiences that instill confidence usingdeep customer empathy, and your extensive knowledge and expertise in the field ofbusiness and personal tax preparation.● Utilize and leverage government websites, professional resources, and team expertise toseek out and deliver the right answer to the customer using everyday language.● Apply defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot and resolvecustomer tax advice and preparation● Document customer interactions● Work continuously toward meeting company key performance metrics and Big BetGoals.● Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations, as needed.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $24.50 - $33.00, Colorado $23.00 - $31.50, Bay Area California $24.50 - 33.00, Southern California $24.50 - 33.00, Washington $24.50 - $33.00. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
