Are you a business driven, strategic cybersecurity leader that takes pride in protecting financial systems? Would you enjoy protecting the tools small and midmarket customers use to power prosperity around the world?
We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Head of Business Security to lead strategically securing the products and platforms used by Intuit’s small and midmarket customers. This critical executive role will be responsible for defining and driving the cybersecurity posture across Intuit's Business Platform of products and services.
Responsibilities
Across Intuit, you will deliver solutions with cross-functional teams of product and platform engineers, trust and safety, risk analysts, and security professionals. Your mandate is to devise and deliver a roadmap to understand and reduce business security risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and further improve the speed Intuit can serve its customers safely by proactively addressing risks.
Intuit’s Head of Business Platform Security will play a pivotal role in ensuring secure customer experiences with velocity, empowering small and midmarket customers with end-user product security controls that delight, and bringing external financial security expertise to fortify Intuit’s money movement scenarios.
What You’ll Do
Create Our Secure Future Through Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the cybersecurity posture roadmap for all Business Platform associated products and services, aligning with overall Intuit strategy and priorities. This includes QuickBooks, Intuit Enterprise Suite, and the Financial Services Platform.
Command the room: Champion your vision and strategic recommendations with cross-functional senior executives to align program goals with corporate risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
Proactive Threat Management: Design and plan against security threats proactively, leading product and engineering teams through incidents and up-leveling their security capabilities.
Security Engineering Excellence: Drive business-savvy security engineering leadership, championing a "shift left" approach to reduce security toil in partnership with enterprise service teams. Has a strong understanding of the evolving digital risk landscape, particularly in areas like agentic AI.
Drive Cross-Functional Impact: Architect and drive the cross-functional team development of systems to identify with precision brewing risk situations leveraging AI/ML and large-scale data platforms.
Build & Lead a High-Caliber Team: Build and lead a focused, high-performing team of security professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. This includes hiring talent with financial firm security experience in addition to midmarket/enterprise customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven Executive Security Engineering Leader: You have 15+ years in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and/or product security engineering roles with 5+ recent years in people and program leadership. Strong foundation in cloud security architecture, telemetry pipelines, AI, and behavioral analytics. Proven executive leadership experience in cybersecurity, preferably within a large-scale financial technology company or a company with significant money movement scenarios.
- Master of Influence: You have deep expertise in proactively designing and implementing secure customer experiences at scale, in a complex enterprise environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive levels.
- Compliant Risk Reducer: You have an understanding of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, PCI, CCPR, GDPR, etc.) and how to mitigate business and financial security risk.
- Thrives Under Pressure: You are agile, resilient, and excel in a fast-paced environment. When threat actor activity spikes, you're the calm in the storm, ready to lead the response.
- Customer Obsession and Employee Empathy: You consider what is best for Intuit’s customers and employees with every decision. You seek to deeply understand Intuit’s products and services.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Mountain View (CA): $307,000 - $415,500
New York, NY: $294,500 - $398,00
