Join our mission

Intuit is a global technology platform that helps consumers and small businesses overcome their most important financial challenges. Serving more than 100 million customers worldwide, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Overview

People who work for themselves fuel our global economy. In the US, small businesses employ 60% of the workforce and create 80% of new jobs; internationally the stats are even more skewed. But the odds are stacked against them. One of two fails in the first five years, two of three before they can turn ten.

The QuickBooks Advanced team is launching a series of exciting new initiatives to fuel the growth for mid-market businesses by becoming their single source of truth for running their business and also managing their finances.

As the Group Product Manager for Financial Services Add-Ons, you will lead a team developing strategy, driving prioritization, and delivering detailed, crisp business requirements that will be used to build the next generation of mid-market-ready Financial Services capabilities (e.g. revenue recognition automation, spend management, fixed asset automation etc).  These will allow growing businesses to coordinate and automate work, never be caught by the surprise of losing money unexpectedly or a ball being dropped due to manual or complex processes. You’ll lead a team of product managers and inspire a cross-functional team of engineers, data scientists, designers, marketers, customer care, analysts and researchers to deliver best-in-class product experiences.

What you'll bring

  • 8 or more years of Product Management experience, preferably in the area of B2B SaaS companies focused on growth and innovation.
  • Ideally have managed a team of 2 or more product managers for 1-2 years.
  • Strong data literacy and ability to use data and analytics to back your strategic approach.
  • Experience defining, owning, and managing a product roadmap.
  • Experience serving as product owner for a scrum team, managing scrum ceremonies and constantly seeking to educate the team on product strategy and roadmap.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, communication and negotiating skills are a must.
  • Experience in matrixed organizations; able to drive results through collaboration and influence.
  • Passionate about building great products, innovation and solving complex customer problems.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to drive fast decisions
  • A bias for action and rapid experimentation with a proven track record of delivering results at scale that impact critical business metrics in the short and long
  • Undergraduate degree required in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Science or a related technical discipline (equivalent professional experience will be considered); advanced degree a plus.

How you will lead

  • Define a bold vision and strategy for mid-market-ready Financial Services capabilities (e.g. revenue recognition automation, spend management, fixed asset automation etc). and experiences in partnership with your design/development team in support of Intuit’s growth plans.
  • Drive alignment and prioritization with leadership to define a roadmap to achieve and lead execution
  • Build and own a quarterly rolling 12-month roadmap to deliver on business objectives
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technology synergies are understood and leveraged.
  • Engage with multiple business stakeholders to ensure all product needs are captured, most importantly across the other scrum teams.
  • Write high quality user stories, using an agile approach, that represent a collaborative view on the direction for the technology platform as defined by development managers and architects.
  • Leverage deep analysis of customer and site analytics to understand behavior and platform performance, using data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Coaching and mentoring a diverse team of product managers who will drive day to day execution of the product portfolio.
  • Define lean experiments and quickly learn and iterate based on customer feedback
