In this role, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Product Manager product manager for HR Systems with deep technical expertise in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM), which is our core HR System and critical to the success of our workforce. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of HR systems that meet the needs of the organization. Qualifications

The Principal Product Manager in this role is expected to demonstrate the following competencies and operate within these responsibilities:

• You have strong product management skills in building user experiences, with deep technical understanding, customer empathy, strong execution capability, and a track record of building strong business partnerships
• 8+ years in product management, designing and delivering world-class products in a senior level Product Management role
• You have led the ideation, technical development, and launch of enterprise software products, transforming your expertise in enterprise software and mobile technologies into innovative solutions and products
• You have been a product management leader in the HR Technology space with multi years of domain expertise in HCM, including Benefits, Rewards, Compensation, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Year End Pay/Performance, and Reporting and Analytics.
• You are an organized, operational thinker who has a track record of managing complexity, and delivering world-class results
• You work with customers, engineering managers, UI engineers, and other technical partners to design products
• You move fluidly between high-level strategy and execution; you are confident giving a presentation to the CEO and running a SCRUM meeting with engineers and designers
• You use data to define metrics for initiatives, to measure current state and to track attainment of stated metrics
• You have an innate curiosity and willingness to dive deep into a complicated product, and the influencing skills to navigate solutions and bring together disparate points of view
• You have a 'can do' attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Demonstrable technical depth in software development - i.e., architecture and design discussions with strong engagement with engineering and architecture teams
• Track record of working closely with customers, partners, listening and taking a customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities - passion for the customer
• Demonstrated success in taking data driven approach and delivering impactful business result
• Proven experience in defining big visions and inspiring teams to deliver new innovations and impactful products
• Excellent collaboration skills - leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations
• Undergraduate degree required. Academic concentration in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline preferred; MBA or MS a plus. Equivalent professional experience will be considered

Responsibilities

As a Principal Product Manager with a focus on Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) you will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization's HR systems are running smoothly and efficiently. In this role you will:

• Manage relationships with HR and Engineering organizations to deliver outcomes, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and providing guidance on system capabilities.
• Align with customers on their most important business priorities and articulate a vision for how technology can be an enabler and accelerator.
• Deliver product requirements with prioritized features and establish the operational rigor for operating and improving the existing portfolio.
• Partner with key stakeholders to design, build and launch solutions, services and key integrations.
• Drive the implementation of Workday capability areas across the organization, managing execution of initiatives and goals for Intuit and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Configure Workday to meet the organization's HR needs, including setting up business processes, security roles, and integrations with other systems.
• Maintain Workday, managing system upgrades, patches, and fixes, and ensuring that the system is running smoothly and efficiently.
• Advocate and manage HR data in Workday, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security
• Be accountable for implementing effective change; creating, maintaining and reviewing the appropriate quality metrics; and helping to continually optimize and improve product adoption.
• Serve as the product evangelist, advocating for the customer every step of the way.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $195,000 - $264,000, Bay Area California $195,000 - 264,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
