Overview
Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial, and operational leadership. Come join the finance team as an Operational Audit Manager with the Internal Audit team. Internal Audit supports the achievement of Intuit’s goals through trusted partnerships, objective risk identification, and innovative audit services.
What you'll bring
- Have 8+ years of progressive internal audit experience in either Big 4 public accounting, and/or in industry, including at least 1-2 years of supervisory responsibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline preferred(e.g. Business, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Law)
- CPA, CIA, CAMS, or CISA certification preferred
- Familiarity with the FTC, FDIC, and CFPB examination procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate business processes, including strong knowledge of control design
- Experience managing audits within a complex operational and regulatory environment
- Ability to identify risk in an agile and innovative technology environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to look ahead, anticipate questions, independently assess risk, and think critically and creatively
- Highly organized, able to work flexibly across boundaries and navigate in dynamic environments
How you will lead
As a member of Intuit’s Internal Audit team, you'll collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver operational, compliance, and integrated audits over Intuit products and services.
- Map complex business flows and controls including their impact on downstream processes, reporting, and metrics
- Plan, scope and execute operational, compliance, and integrated audits including reviews of new and enhanced products, process changes, and system implementations.
- Identify risks, design and execute tests of controls, using techniques including data analysis
- Develop and conduct testing for key FinTech risks and, as appropriate, guide management to implement continuous monitoring around these risks.
- Plan and execute product, technology and compliance-related engagements, including identifying inherent risks and assessing required regulatory controls.
- Guide and supervise team members in their execution of audit projects including review of their work to ensure compliance with internal standards
- Evaluate and frame audit observations within the relevant business context, formulating practical recommendations that balance stakeholder needs
- Participate in activities related to systems development, new products, mergers and acquisitions, and consult on new policies to ensure that control considerations are evaluated in the early stages of these activities
- Draft audit reports that provide useful insights to management
- Monitor closure of audit observations
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with business partners and key stakeholders
- Effectively manage relationships with the Internal Audit co-sourcing partners to ensure cohesive and collaborative execution
