Job Overview
Come join the Adversary Management Team as a Staff Security Architect defining the architecture for security controls & capabilities, implementing security architecture changes, deploying advanced security solutions, and working across the organization to deliver on complex security outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years cybersecurity
- Degree: BS/MS in computer security or equivalent work experience.
- Credentials: Multiple security credentials preferred
- Skills: Ability to design, develop, and maintain automation applications using microservices, serverless or container technologies
- Ability to translate requirements into automation deliverables by performing design, code, test, and maintain for cloud technologies
- Communicates relative priority effectively, especially regarding high risk vulnerabilities
- Ability to defend complex networks, multi-operating system, SaaS and multi-cloud infrastructures
- Experience designing / deploying secure network infrastructure, secure Operating Systems, secure Applications and secure Online Services
- Experience planning and designing large scale E2E enterprise data solutions
- Deep knowledge and demonstrated experience with cloud networking, cloud computing, cloud file systems, cloud databases, and storage
- Strong awareness of data infrastructure capabilities such as data pipelines, data lake, analytics, data governance, data orchestrator, data streaming, data curation
Responsibilities
- Drives architectural designs, system designs and strategic technology plans, and authors technical security documents
- Influences the shaping of security standards by contributing to the definition of capabilities and the design for controls and assets
- Role models and teaches others: techniques for gaining rapid customer feedback via experimentation, validating hypothesis with data, and grow their knowledge & capabilities through training & guidance
- Builds deep skills and architects solutions in new technology and applies them across multiple teams
- Implements security and process improvements that have department wide impact
- Conducts proof of concept evaluations for security products
- Partnering with Product Management, Delivery Leader and End Users, generate use cases and technical requirements documentation that guides the delivery engineers in development.
- Ability to present clearly complex technical data to senior leaders
- Comprehensive understanding of the implications and trade-offs for all architectural decisions, including business risk, capital & operational cost impacts, customer experience impacts, operational security impacts, etc.
- Takes a metric-driven and data-backed approach to evaluate the customer benefit of a solution delivery and pivots/iterates as necessary with full accountability and ownership
- Works independently with minimal direct supervision and is expected to balance time accordingly between competing/changing priorities
- Ability to apply moderate and advanced indicators to identify threat actor activity
- Use Big Data, AI & ML to identify threat actors and related moderate and advanced indicators and related TTPs
- Optimize correlation & discovery, and drive reporting of high fidelity security intelligence, so that consumers can rapidly make risk decisions and keep track of their cyber resilience
- Use Big Data, AI & ML to analyze security signals to identify threats, including malware, 0-day vulnerabilities, and new attack types
