Overview
The focus of the Data Success team is to drive end to end delivery and adoption for internal use case customers across Intuit Data Engineering capabilities.
The goal is to enable BUs and functional groups to create value from data in a self-serve capacity, to power use cases in production resulting in significant business impact. The role requires deep customer empathy and the ability to work as a partner and advocate to help users navigate through any organizational, process or platform barriers to maximize adoption, business impact and derived value.
Unlike a PMO that sits with the platform or PD compatibility side, this role works across Intuit Data Engineering (IDE) platforms. Without this role, the internal customers would need to do this chasing down of individual platform components and stitch them together, while lacking the time, relationships and expertise to do so effectively and efficiently.
What you'll bring
- Strong Program Management leadership experience, including 5 + years leading well defined data-focused programs or initiatives
- Work experience in customer success or consulting roles at top companies preferred
- An established reputation for strong customer empathy
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, ability to influence at group manager and director level
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across teams to delivering the best outcomes
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to communicate effectively with engineering
- BS/BA degree required, or equivalent work experience
- PMP preferred
How you will lead
The mission of the Program Management function at Intuit is to accelerate change to maximize business outcomes. The Data Success PMO role provides strong leadership to accelerate the execution and delivery of key use case programs which may span across Intuit.
- Drives the process of defining use case programs to move beyond initial discovery - scoping, green light from leadership, execution, delivery and next phases. Keeps it moving, with velocity.
- Create and own the program execution plan.
- Establishes & drives regular op mechs to create transparency with internal and external stakeholders on progress/process. Enables fast decision making to unblock teams.
- Manage dependencies and resolve impediments, with timely escalation, to help teams meet their deliverables. Identifies areas of improvement for cross-org teams; creates and executes change plans.
- Primary person who understands, articulates the business value, success metrics and outcome metrics, track and report out.
- Owns all program communications and develops relationships with key partners (leadership, stakeholders, partner team, cross functional dependency teams).
- Builds, documents and communicates broadly the success story of the use case; highlighting business impact and benefit.
- Works to ensure adoption of IDE platforms by downstream systems, users and products for long-term integration of capabilities into business processes/products.
- Ensures governance, training and support is in place for all business users.
- Identifies needs and conducts gap assessments on an ongoing basis, providing to the product development team.
- Works with partners to identify additional use cases/workflows that could benefit from IDE platform capabilities.
- Influence and motivate teams by rallying around the customer problem to ensure quality of deliverables and business outcome.
- Drive technical discussions with experts; understanding impacts and communicating resulting decisions effectively.
- Provide input to long term technical and business program outcomes, ensuring alignment with Intuit’s target data architecture.
