What you’ll do
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Workplace Operations Leader to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our workplace environments support the needs of our diverse and rapidly growing global workforce. This is a unique opportunity to lead workplace operations for a region of Intuit’s real estate portfolio. This role involves end-to-end maintaining and creating a work environment that promotes productivity, engagement, company culture, and well-being for our employees around the world. The ideal candidate will be an individual that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proven track record in workplace operations, facilities management, and employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workplace operations or facilities management, or hospitality management.
- Proven experience managing workplace operations in a fast-paced, high-growth tech
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple
- Ability to travel internationally as
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Leadership:
- Develop and implement a workplace operations strategy for your assigned portfolio aligned with the global workplace vision and goals, applying a Day 1 mindset to identify and explore new opportunities to optimize the employee experience and create efficiencies
- Lead and manage a team of vendor partners across your assigned portfolio in delivery over all operations.
Facilities Management/Workplace:
- Own and deliver end-to-end onsite workplace operations and maintenance of all company facilities within the assigned portfolio, ensuring they meet high standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
- Lead onsite operations of events, food service/catering, alternative commute/transportation, shipping/receiving, fitness, regional services, etc - ensuring alignment with global standards set in collaboration with global workplace program
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for facility maintenance, safety, and emergency response including business continuity plans for all facilities globally in partnership with the business and security continuity plans.
- Support the development and maintaining a rich database of workplace information and benchmarking for constant reference and guidance in decision making with a mindset of constantly seeking opportunities for ‘best & leading industry practice’
Employee Experience:
- Foster, lead and create a positive and productive work environment that enhances employee satisfaction and engagement on assigned portfolio, empowering your team to own local culture in the offices they manage.
- Support and execute a hospitality-oriented, forward-thinking, data-driven workplace operations focused on enabling the success of the individuals and teams who utilize our spaces.
- Ensuring that the workplace reflects our company culture in collaboration with HR, benefits and other workplace programs to ensure programs and initiatives that support employee well-being create onsite engagement and enhance company culture through workplace activations.
Space Planning and Utilization Partnership:
- Analyze and optimize space utilization in partnership with space & occupancy to meet the evolving needs of the company.
- Implement best practices for space utilization, office layout, and facility
- In partnership with space & occupancy, plan and oversee office relocations, expansions, and redesigns to support business growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams such as real estate, design & constructions, IT/AV, security, EHS, finance, and workplace programs to align operational efforts with overall company objectives.
- Lead in business strategy with storytelling skills and be able to build effective business
- Provide regular updates to leadership on operations, risks, and potential strategic
Stakeholder Relationship Management and Communication:
- Partner with local business leaders on business growth plans and workplace requirements as well as at the operational level regarding delivery of services and programs to ensure a positive workplace & facilities experience
- Own end-to-end process for onsite stakeholder communication and engagement to ensure effective operational management and workplace experience.
Sustainability and Innovation:
- Drive and partner with engineeringing regarding sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of our workplaces.
- Explore and implement innovative technologies and solutions to improve workplace efficiency and effectiveness.
Budget and Vendor Management:
- Develop and manage the workplace operating budgets, forecasts and ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality for the assigned
- Own and develop detailed plans for service implementations or changes that impact the budget.
- Own the annual capital planning strategy for assigned portfolio to address appropriate investment in preventative maintenance, including continuous evaluation of asset lifecycle costs & payback
Vendor and Partner Management:
- Establish, own and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure delivery of high-quality services and materials.
- Manage SLAs, SOPs, and objectives for improving team performance and KPIs for vendor performance management.
- Support QBRs and vendor scorecards ratings to efficiently manage vendors and report up to management on performance and accomplishments.
- Lead outsourced vendor partner (contractor)operations & strategy for assigned portfolio, support development and set SLAs, maintain and validate that they are met and managed against the desired outcomes
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $131,000 - $177,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
