We are a global team within the Intuit Information Security Research and Development organization, focused on detecting and preventing identity fraud and insider threats for the larger Intuit ecosystem. In this role, your focus would be to lead the transformation of the underlying fraud risk decision engines that supports our critical area of focus, including revolutionizing speed to benefit, infusing AI into our fraud and risk lifecycle end-to-end, with the ultimate goal of making Intuit the safest and the most trusted place for our customers to transact.

You will be building products that serve all Intuit business segments. The fraud prevention platform product enables rapid development of risk and fraud policies to detect, prevent, and eradicate product gaps that enable bad actors to defraud Intuit and its customers. We are seeking a senior product manager on our team who would build the vision and roadmap to developing novel AI-driven methods into our risk decision engine to accelerate and elevate fraud risk controls targeting account-take-over fraud and account-opening-fraud. Experiencing in building and launching AI focused products, technical skills and experience with go-to-market in a fast paced business environment is a must. Our customers and partners are strongly technical and this role requires a strong display of driving technical partnership and influence leading to strong business outcomes. Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience in the e-commerce, internet, or fintech industries, ideally designing and building corporate fraud and security related solutions; 
  • 2+ years of experience working in the ML/AI domain; track record of working with AI/ML/Data Science, Engineering, Risk and Legal teams to define, build, and maintain highly-scalable, mission-critical products. 
  • Strong analytical skills paired with a data-informed mindset; passion for solving problems (large and small) that result in tangible, measurable results; experience using data and metrics to test hypotheses, validate assumptions and measure success
  • Deep customer empathy and curiosity; deeply understands customer experience and pain points using usability studies, customer interactions, experiments, and aggregated feedback from internal customer facing teams to inform product decisions. 
  • Proficient in defining well-thought out user stories, with thorough acceptance criteria and use cases.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; articulate clearly and concisely the value of deliverables, trade-off justifications; collaborates with stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones.
  • Self-aware with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve; capable of decomposing a big project into bite-size milestones, with a strong focus on execution and delivery of results.
  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical discipline required; advanced degree is a plus. Equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • Technically conversant of microservice architecture, Cloud (AWS) architecture, ML infrastructure and architecture, risk and fraud modeling and controls
  • 10% or less travel to other locations based on work requirements

  • Product Owner: Brings demonstrated experience building or supporting platform level capabilities; develop deep understanding of the Account Takeover and Account Opening Fraud challenges of our business; creates and evangelizes a killer product roadmap that inspires teams and win buy-ins from stakeholders; can deploy impact-driven prioritization frameworks that make informed trade-offs; coordinate go-to-market activities; can mentor junior PMs.
  • Customer Champion: Has deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitor insights; is obsessed with solving customer problems.
  • Influencing Skills: Able to use data, metrics, and analysis to drive consensus; skilled in stakeholder management and communication at all levels of the organization; can effectively tailor communications to the appropriate audience to ensure broad alignment, awareness, and advocacy of the product.
  • Technical Complexity: Demonstrate strong understanding of platform components and cloud architecture; Unblock engineering teams on cross-functional dependencies, such as integrating with existing services, supporting convergence towards future architecture and infrastructure, and building scalable solutions that extend across the company.
  • Domain Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of AI / machine learning (build and deploy ML models). Payment industry and associated risks knowledge preferred but not required.

  • Creates and maintains a logical sequenced, inspiring, yet executable product roadmap of the AI-first risk platform to support fraud prevention strategy. 
  • Manages the ongoing changes to business priorities and engineering operational excellence to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communicates frequently and clearly with other teams and leaders. Ruthlessly prioritizes the team’s backlog and works across teams to deliver value for our customers.
