Job Overview
We are looking for an exceptional, growth-minded Staff Product Designer to join the QuickBooks Money Design team in Israel. In this role, you’ll drive one of our most innovative, strategic, initiatives.You'll be responsible for validating key assumptions in the problem space, understanding customer needs, and developing key concepts. You'll work alongside a team of Product Managers and Engineers to launch a series of experiments, to define the product’s roadmap and future iterations, based on customer feedback and further learning.
Responsibilities
• Solve customer problems by synthesizing behavioral information and imagining things as they might be, not as they are • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into unique product experiences • Define the user experience, interactions, and user interface through user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and visual design • Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research • Closely collaborate with design teams across multiple geos • Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews • Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends • Work on multiple projects at one time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately • Create a bold vision and propose game-changing ideas in areas of ownership • Influence cross-functional partners to focus efforts on strategic, customer-back innovations that have the largest business impactQualifications
• 7+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, or related fields. Some of that experience must include shipping products • Ideally a bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field • Deep expertise and experience designing cross-platform experiences • Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results • Effective, articulate communicator when it comes to talking about your work with senior execs and when working through constraints with engineering partners • Mastery of design tools. Lo and hi-fidelity prototyping skills • Experience mentoring and growing other designers • A comprehensive online portfolio demonstrating your strong craft and collaborative process Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services is a huge plusRelated Content
