Overview

Intuit’s Finance team drives business growth and profitability through strategic, financial and operational leadership. Our team is comprised of finance, accounting, supply chain, corporate strategy & development and tax professionals that support and enhance Intuit's operating efficiencies. 

This is a functional role (not an IT position) overseeing the Finance Enterprise Business Systems (FEBS) group that reports into the Finance organization.  The FEBS team drives enablement of key Financial systems priorities partnering across various finance functional groups – primarily Corporate Accounting, International Accounting, Source to Pay, Order to Cash, Go To Market and Supply Chain.  FEBS engagements include ERP implementations, internally developed systems and platforms as well as SAAS tools. This manager will lead the FEBS team delivering new platform capabilities and systems implementation in service to the financial integrity and financial operations of Intuit’s financial systems, for example: Intuit Revenue Platform, Source to Report (S2R), Record to Report (R2R) and Global Payroll process and platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, Business Administration – Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience (strong knowledge of accounting. Must have the ability to understand how financial transactions flow end to end from the top of the funnel all the way to the GL)
  • 15+ years in a management role
  • 10+ years overall experience in Financial systems and platforms with a focus on Q2C (billing) S2R, R2R and Global Payroll applications; previous experience with major systems implementations and working with Systems Integrator partners
  • Deep knowledge of Financial domains, especially, Accounting and Reporting, Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay and Payroll, in an Enterprise and SAAS environment
  • 10+ years overall experience as a business analyst, with experience in requirements documentation and testing validation
  • Proven leadership, change management, and process management skills
  • Strong Program Management skills
  • The ability to multi-task across concurrent projects is essential.
  • Envisioning the future and driving the long term strategy and roadmaps that address business needs, technology trends, and IT ecosystem requirements

How you will lead

  • Accountable leader responsible for technology transformation across all Financial platforms (60+) and offering enablement across all Intuit offerings
  • Responsible for providing E2E Finance requirements used by technology partners to build our systems; Responsible for E2E assurance of the systems to ensure new systems and capabilities meet customer and Finance stakeholder needs
  • Driver of Financial systems roadmap including intake mechanism, prioritization and funding in partnership with t4i; Best in class processes now being adopted X-Intuit
  • Operates cross-functionally across the company with technology/engineering counterparts to deliver technology outcomes
  • Responsible for a team of Process Architects delivering Finance requirements, use cases, business process flows, test cases, test execution and traceability to Finance requirements. This would be in support of new platform development as well as enhancements to existing applications across Intuit’s financial systems (for example: IRP, S2R, R2R and Global Payroll processes)
  • Partner with Finance teams to understand their business needs and strategy, and represent their requirements to the technology teams
  • Partner with platform product management and product development teams to shape the roadmap in support of business priorities, as well as prioritization of all production defects
  • Partner with technology teams to deliver strategic initiatives timely and with quality in support of the go forward strategy
  • Develop and maintain strong, proactive relationships with the Business and Functional Units and technology teams to deliver solutions that enable business goals.
  • Leading and developing team members to become a high performing organization that thinks and operates with end-to-end ownership of deliverables
  • Responsible for the Finance Center of Automation team
  • A Team of experts who is responsible for:
    • Build Simplification and Automation Strategy
    • Managing and prioritizing automation ideas
    • Developing and maintaining automations
    • Support finance teams in process simplification leading to automation
  • Offer Simplification and Automation as a capability to empower Finance teams to increase business value and reallocate resources to critical priorities
  • Embed Simplification and Automation framework effectively in the finance organization, and build the knowledge and skill set across teams.

 

The FEBS leader must have an in-depth E2E knowledge of Financial systems as well as Intuit’s offerings.
