Overview

Come join the Care team within t4i (Tech For Intuit) as a Senior Business Analyst. We support all Intuit workers (30K+) with their tech hardware needs.  We are a global organization and strive to ensure our workforce is always productive. This is a Hardware Asset Management role. Previous experience in Asset Management (worker tech hardware) is required.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant business experience. (HW Asset Management) 
  • Stong ServiceNow experience in a global role
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.
  • Strong business analysis skills (planning, feasibility assessments, requirements development, testing, problem solving, working across business and IT)
  • Significant experience in Supplier Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, and/or Program Management in a sophisticated, global, procurement environment.
  • Experience creating, documenting and refining end to end processes.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining live dashboards using a variety of tools in support of real time instrumentation.
  • Experience in creating operational runbooks, playbooks and training others to execute in an end to end documented workflow.
  • Experience creating a minimum set of key metrics so we know how we are doing and can drive decisions and improvements with more accuracy (data insights). 
  • Experience developing and gaining acceptance for proposed solutions and business cases with senior level technical and business leaders.
  • Proven track record of delivering IT business capabilities to solve complex business opportunities
  • Excellent attention to detail and results oriented with a track record demonstrating strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to quickly learn complex business processes and understand the underlying transactional systems
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills; ability to communicate across all levels.

 

How you will lead

Drive end to end global asset optimization and financial management to support reduction of cost and complexity of the asset environment, including:

  • Create, manage and constantly improve operational processes, procedures (playbooks) and dashboards ensuring consistency of service delivery of all tech assets managed within the global portfolio.
  • Own the core processes in partnership with the Asset Management Leadership Team required to manage the global asset management service delivery offering.
  • Proactively maintain tech equipment forecasts and inventory levels to ensure we always have the right supply of technology hardware and peripherals to keep Intuit growing.
  • Assist in financial planning for capital and expense spending to optimize the useful life of assets
  • Plan for equipment end of life and hardware refresh
  • Monitor tech assets ordered, escalate non-receipt with suppliers and manage all open purchase orders with key partners in sourcing and finance.
  • Partner with other analysts in and outside of the organization to ensure Asset Management has a seat at the table when needed
  • Management of tech hardware e-waste programs including:
  • Maintaining relationship with disposal partners
  • Track revenue recovered from disposed devices
  • Monitor proof of sanitization and proof of destruction artifacts for every asset.
  • Execute quarterly audits of process and adherence

Supplier Management

  • Hold regular strategic business reviews with key VARs (value added resellers) and internal partners to improve relationships and services provided.
  • Serve as liaison to internal business partners and suppliers. Building strong trusted relationships that deliver customer value
  • Manage contracts to ensure that commercial obligations are met and full value is received from the contract. Ensure the process for renewal or replacement of existing agreement is proactively handled and scaled to accommodate growth.

Automates the installations of IT supported operating systems, drivers, and software. Responsible for the automation of IT inventory processes, change management processes, remote management processes and support processes. Must also be able to communicate and educate the use of automation tools to IT peers and end users of IT automation.

Drive automation and self service of Asset Management activities to reduce process cycle times, increase accuracy and drive efficient cost savings

Work closely with other Service Management process owners to ensure effective touch points with ITSM processes such as Incident, Request, and Configuration Management

Build and maintain ITSM workflows and user notifications in ServiceNow for key Asset Management processes such as laptop refresh, reclaim and recovery

Create and update knowledge articles for team processes and procedures

Partner with Endpoint Management to identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience through problem identification and resolution associated with technology hardware

Provide KPI/Metric dashboards and standardized reporting on a scheduled basis together with unscheduled reporting as requested

Complete special projects as assigned by Service Management leadership and infrastructure team managers

Leverage strong communication and presentation skills (with ability to flex to the level of audience) to identify the business problem, negotiate a proposed solution, execute, present, track and implement the solution.

Drive requirement reviews, incorporating feedback, joint analysis of requirements with internal and external cross-functional teams (familiarity with Agile principles a big plus)

Business process definition, flow-charts - current state and future state

Provide revenue projections and opportunity cost analysis to product managers and business leaders.

Hands-on partnership with Finance leadership to build and maintain annual PC budget, understand key cost drivers and recommend savings opportunities and/or expense reductions
