Global Demand Center (GDC)

The Demand Center Team consists of highly capable and passionate marketers and demand enthusiasts focused on delivering wins for the Mid-Market Segment.  The Global Demand Center Senior Marketing Manager will be report to the Group Marketing Manager. The role will lead channel GTM for QuickBooks Solutions Providers (QSP) and key partner segments to drive channel strategies and planned execution.

 As the lead marketer for QuickBooks, this role will develop and execute Go-To-Market strategies and tactics that drive awareness & adoption of QuickBooks across the mid-market audience.  The individual will partner closely with sales and BU marketing teams, as well as with segment, channel, and product partners to deliver awesome experiences for small-medium businesses and accelerate the growth to drive the mid-market corporate strategy and GTM initiatives for the GDC.  This role plays a critical role as a liaison between marketing and sales channels that aligns to one of Intuit’s Big Bets…Disrupting the emerging Mid-Market, 25-300 employees.

What you'll bring

  • Location / Travel: This position may be REMOTE from any US CITY provided that the you are available to travel as required once we resume travel (TBD) . Travel is estimated 1x per quarter primarily to Mountain View CA for team meetings and potentially several times per year for events. All TBD. 
  • Strong Marketing Experience: Ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of progressively increasing responsibility in marketing.
  • Strategic & Analytical: Deep experience analyzing and making sense of data to develop business cases/plans and influence senior leaders, teams, and partner organizations to meet and exceed business goals.
  • Customer-obsessed: Leads with customer insight (internal stake holders and partners), obsessively seeks new insights that result in action, and advocates internally and externally on behalf of our customers.
  • Leadership & Impact: Demonstrated leadership skills that resulted in broad impact across organizations.  Requires a strategic mindset with capability of engaging in deep business and marketing-related discussions with senior management

  • Marketing Planning: Demonstrated experience setting marketing strategies and plans for a brand and product line within a sales channel.
  • Digital Marketing: Strong understanding of best practices in marketing.  Tactics focused on mid-market and potential to expand beyond digital.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Able to create strong processes and demonstrate effective project management skills to drive execution cross-functionally across all key constituents
  • Self-starter: Demonstrated track record where he/she has operated independently and efficiently to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Versatile Do-er: Forward-thinking leader with the ability to create strategy, drive decisions and take action, and to roll up their sleeves and execute.

How you will lead

  • Drives the strategy: Develops messaging and GTM Plans for delivering the outcomes for the core vertical and emerging channels.  Strong consumer insights to translate to high impact marketing vehicles.  With ability to be resourceful and identify creative solutions.
  • Thought Leadership:  Leverages broad leadership skills and insights from customers and Sales to influence the prioritization of resources to build scalable vertical playbooks for all verticals. 
  • Marketing Leadership:  Possesses in-depth knowledge of the business, customer, and channels, as well as savvy strategic and tactical marketing skills to drive growth.  
  • Strong segmentation and targeting understanding to drive awesome customer experiences
  • Strategic Influence: Strong executive presence with ability to influence and make recommendations. Role results in high interaction with sales leadership, frontline and customers.
  • Proactively Seizes Opportunities:  Develops & executes on solutions to address End to End customer issues & spearheads opportunities for growth rooted in customer insight.
  • Builds Organizational Collaboration:  Active leader/teacher/community-builder across stakeholders, the broader marketing function, and GDC cross-functional teams.
  • Team Development:  Ability to coach and develop a team of direct reports
