Intuit, the global technology platform that makes TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mint, Credit Karma and Mailchimp, is searching for an experienced HR Business Partner to be part of our People team for the Small Business & Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) supporting our teams in Canada. Your focus will be on talent strategy, executive coaching and development, transformational change, safe and inclusive work environment, and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Experience in a HR role partnering with employees and management. Preference would be someone who has been working at an HRBP level with senior leadership and executives and is ready for the next great challenge in their career.
- Experience working in matrix organizations in a global company
- Strong influencing skills and stakeholder engagement in a highly centralised model
- Preferred BS/BA in Management, Human Resource, Organizational Development or equivalent experience
- Experience in designing organizational structures to support and accelerate business strategy
- Able to assess, diagnose and build leadership and team capabilities, at senior levels with courage and data
- Able to seamlessly move between strategic issues and day-to-day HR operations
- Proven experience identifying and leading change, and building this capability in others
- Experience in building organizational and talent plans to identify and execute against future talent needs (defining skills needed for the future, succession and development plans, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to foster and influence an inclusive culture of empathy, transparency, and trust
Responsibilities
- Active member of the Australia / ROW leadership team with the ability to lead and contribute at the business level in addition to HR-related topics across both the country and site level. People Business Partner to the Country Manager for Australia.
- Leverage deep understanding of the business strategy to identify the right skills and capabilities of the future. Build a plan to hire, develop and retain the talent needed to deliver the business strategy.
- Develop a high performing organization and strong leadership bench aligned with Intuit Values and the Leadership Playbook.
- Drive HR-related Operating Mechanisms, including High Performing Organizational Reviews and the employee engagement survey process (Pulse).
- Drive successful organizational change and help coach leaders and teams to be successful at Change Leadership
- Partner with our COEs/central teams to accelerate adoption of HR solutions across Australia (Diversity/Equity/Inclusion, comp & benefits, payroll, legal, talent development with a focus on people leaders/manager capability) to drive transformational change, build leadership capability and drive engagement.
- Partner with Site Leaders, Site Councils and Employee Resource Groups to drive employee engagement and well-being while gathering the voice of employees (VOE).
- Hands-on and process-driven while offering guidance and sharing expertise when needed to proactively coach people and effectively manage to employee situations
- Collaborate with all stages of the employee life cycle, from offer and onboarding to exit interviews/paperwork/reporting and offboarding in partnership with Talent Acquisition, New Hire Orientation, and payroll.
- Using HR information systems, producing management reports and analyzing data to proactively identify trends and ensure plans are in place to address the feedback
- Drive improvement in key employee performance metrics, including Employee Engagement, Internal Mobility, Regrettable Losses, and Manager Capability.
