Strategic Sales Leader - Inbound Core Acquisition

Overview
Come join Intuit as a Sales Manager for the Inbound Core Sales. She or he will lead a dynamic team of inside sales consultants while defining and executing sales strategies to win with accountants. We are looking for a successful telesales leader to join our rock-star team. This person needs to have a proven track record of being a highly energetic and focused change leader, who loves improving processes and business outcomes through innovation and customer insights.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of consultative sales experience in a technology environment selling complex solutions and/or SaaS offerings to businesses.
- 1+ year(s) leading Sales teams with a preference towards that experience leading teams with both sell-to and sell-through priorities
- Experience with Salesforce as a CRM, forecasting, and pipeline management tool
- Proven track record of experience meeting or exceeding quota in a highly consultative sales environment.
- Leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to set goals, gain shared vision, negotiate resolutions, meet commitments and garner respect from other team members.
- Ability to work internally to gain commitments, collaborate for channel needs and present to senior level executives. Ability to work across a matrix organization is a must.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- Sales analytics skills in monitoring and managing a pipeline and team effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work internally, across all business functions.
- Displayable change management success.
- Industry experience desired, but not mandatory
How you will lead
- Help grow the Inbound sales team while you lead and develop the industry’s elite workforce management sales talent, including setting team performance milestones, tracking performance, and striving to constantly improve outcomes.
- Participate in the ongoing improvement of processes, and rewards to align to business goals and strategy and to create sustainable competitive success.
- Support the development and execution of the sales strategy in partnership with the leadership team, including contributing to creation of short- and long-term strategic objectives.
- Provide continuous support, sales coaching and training that builds the skills of all employees.
- Conduct talent review sessions and drive a productive, year-round performance management culture, being clear on performance expectations, initiative prioritization, goals, and results.
- Collaborate across teams to share and learn best practices to continue to drive growth and to implement process improvement.
- Quickly test new ideas, using our Innovation practices, combining data and insight to learn and innovate rapidly.
- Help lead organizational change as required and help the team respond to change.
- Help remove barriers, acting as an escalation point when needed to help solve or triage.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the team’s work and processes.
- Own the plan for the team’s success and contribute to the organization’s Vision.
