Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) has a vision to be the leading provider of integrated business tools and expert services for small businesses sized 10-100 employees (small business mid-market segment), with solutions that can be customized for unique business needs at every stage of the business lifecycle. We deliver a completely connected solution that consists of QuickBooks Online Accounting products, QuickBooks Workforce Solutions including Online Payroll and Time, QuickBooks Online Payments and Bill Pay, Mailchimp, and deep integrations with 3P apps - at a disruptive price and packaged and serviced as a flexible unified solution. Our offerings provide businesses comfort and security: expert help is always available, their employees have the tools to get their jobs done easily and efficiently, and they can remain in our ecosystem as they grow.
Responsibilities
To shepherd the breakthrough growth we are targeting in our vision, the company is looking for a dynamic Vice President of Product Management to lead our small business mid-market efforts. This role is both a vertical role, leading the QuickBooks product teams that deliver key product capabilities critical to this customer base, and a horizontal role responsible for ensuring our end-to-end user experiences across all parts of the QuickBooks ecosystem delight our mid-market customers.
The role reports to the senior vice president of QuickBooks, Laurent Sellier, an experienced leader, who is in charge of mid-market and drives transformation and innovation across key parts of the QuickBooks portfolio. The successful candidate will define and articulate the product strategy, roadmap, and capabilities aligned with our overall Intuit and GBSG vision and strategy for the small business mid-market, including the following:
- Define the vision, product strategy, and roadmap for the product portfolio by conducting rigorous analysis to identify the unique needs and pain points of mid-market small businesses and transforming those insights into actionable deliverables.
- Build a product organization that delivers industry-differentiating product experiences and is deeply embedded in all other QuickBooks teams such as Accountant, WorkForce Solutions, and Money, to represent the needs of our Mid-Market Audience within those teams and ensure our strategies and delivery plans are aligned.
- Develop and maintain a system for measuring the success of these products and experiences, using data-driven insights to refine and improve the offering continually.
- Actively monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure that QuickBooks stays ahead of the curve and proactively identifies new growth opportunities. This includes speaking at relevant industry conferences, investor days, and other public engagements.
- Hire, onboard, and develop talent within the Product Management team, providing mentorship, guidance, and growth opportunities to help them realize their full potential.
- Foster a culture of innovation and customer-centricity within the Product Management team, empowering and inspiring others to drive bold new ideas and initiatives while collaborating with other teams to bring these to fruition. Ensure productivity is underpinned with a focus on inclusivity, diversity, and high-quality teamwork.
