Intuit's Endpoint Management team plays a critical role in empowering our global workforce to do the best work of their lives. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Staff Endpoint Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering resilient and innovative technology solutions.

About the Role

In this impactful role, you will provide technical leadership and expertise in the planning, design, implementation, and support of Intuit's diverse endpoint ecosystem. This includes physical and virtual endpoints (Apple, Windows, mobile, Amazon Workspaces, Secure Enterprise Browser, etc.). You will collaborate closely with system architects, fellow engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure our endpoint environment remains secure, reliable, and optimized for peak performance.

Responsibilities

  • Endpoint Strategy and Implementation: Lead the planning, design, implementation, and support of Intuit's endpoint management strategy, encompassing a wide range of devices and platforms.

 

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Leverage endpoint and end-user data, along with AI-driven insights, to accelerate self-healing initiatives and improve future deployments.

 

  • Operational Excellence: Provide expert operational support for Intuit's endpoint management environments (WorkSpace One, AWS Servers infrastructure) and ensure seamless end-user experiences.

 

  • Technical Leadership: Act as a technical leader and mentor, guiding and supporting colleagues in their technical development and growth.

 

  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner effectively with vendors, application support teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes.

 

  • Continuous Improvement: Continually apply DevSecOps principles and best practices to enhance quality assurance, product reliability, and operational efficiency.

 

  • Incident Response and Problem Resolution: Participate in application troubleshooting, incident response, and problem resolution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to restore services and minimize disruptions.

 

  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation (runbooks, playbooks) and contribute to the team's knowledge base.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Endpoint Management Experience: 7+ years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server administration and recent experience with iOS and Android EMM platforms (WorkSpace One or similar).

 

  • Diverse Platform Expertise: Recent experience with Chrome OS/Google Chrome Browser administration and extensive troubleshooting experience with PC, Mac, and modern mobile devices.

 

  • Virtualization and Cloud Technologies: Strong knowledge and experience with virtual machines (AWS Workspaces, Horizon VDI, or Citrix) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

 

  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to diverse audiences.

 

  • Self-Starter and Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile and DevOps Practices: Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum) and DevSecOps principles.

 

  • Automation and Scripting: Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation and management tasks.

 

  • Security Focus: Strong knowledge of endpoint security best practices and technologies (antivirus, malware, MFA).

 

  • Industry Certifications: ITIL, AWS, VMware certifications are a plus.
