Responsibilities

  • What You'll Do

      • Engineer Innovative Security Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable systems that effectively detect and prevent fraudulent activities, ensuring a secure and trustworthy experience for our users.

      • Lead with Expertise: Serve as a technical leader and domain expert, influencing technology and product direction within your area of focus.

      • Collaborate and Mentor: Partner with cross-functional teams to drive the best solutions for our customers, mentoring junior engineers and sharing your expertise.

      • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analysis to inform product direction and technical decisions, navigating ambiguity and driving continuous improvement.

      • Champion Security Best Practices: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and presentations to effectively communicate security risks and best practices to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

  • What You Bring to the Team

    • Proven Experience: 10+ years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming (Java/J2EE, C#, Python, etc.).

     

    • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum), web services (REST, SOAP), and database technologies (SQL, BigQuery).

     

    • Security Acumen: Experience with cybersecurity concepts, fraud prevention techniques, and abuse pattern analysis.

     

    • Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

     

    • Growth Mindset: A passion for continuous learning and a desire to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment.

     

    Bonus Points

    • Experience with modern architectural frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).

     

    • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $191,000 - $258,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
