Job Overview
Come join Global Business Services (GBS) International P2P team as we continue our digital transformation journey. As APAC Territory Lead you will be responsible for managing and leading the end-to-end procurement process for the APAC region which includes India and Australia.
The Intuit Global Business Services (GBS) organization is responsible for the purchasing of goods & services, negotiating contracts, and paying our suppliers to enable Intuit to Power Prosperity Around the World. In this role you will be required to partner closely with business users, vendors, technology and finance teams to drive transformational change in this Source-to-Report space through technology implementations and enhancements in support of employees and suppliers.
Are you an experienced finance or procurement manager who is passionate about back-office finance or software and high-impact projects? Join GBS’s International P2P team as an APAC Territory Lead. The individual in this role will need to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect through Finance and Intuit and work as a team player. This role will be critical to ensure the success of the projects that span technology, both implementations and driving enhancements, and process improvements. We are looking for a candidate who has experience in leading the APAC region, preferably back-office finance such as Coupa, Concur, Aravo and Oracle eBiz.
The APAC Territory Lead will be responsible for oversight of all GBS P2P activities in the region across procurement, P2P, travel and expense, vendor onboarding and third-party risk management compliance in partnership with GBS leadership based in the USA.
This role will report to the International Territory Manager based in London, with daily flexibility required to attend meetings during GMT and Pacific hours. The role will be hybrid with 2 days in the Bangalore office required per week.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience with International Shared Services / Financial Operations / Procurement
- Experience developing and / or presenting business cases
- Ability to influence and drive change while building solid relationships with your internal clients and external vendors
- Awareness of best practices regarding vendor sourcing and procurement
- Bachelor’s degree in business or other quantitative discipline
- 10+ years of sourcing /procurement / consulting / payment / accounting experience
- Must read, write and speak English language fluently
- Experience in project management and continuous improvement
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in managing global territories
- Solid financial and /or quantitative modeling / Coupa / Oracle / Excel experience
Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
Serve as the leading point of contact for APAC stakeholders with a day 1 mindset and rigor. The role will play a pivotal role enabling structure, change management, driving process improvements and efficiencies to transform our business. Additionally, supporting the Global P2P Ops strategy and participation in the implementation of systems, changes in process and various projects internationally.
- Serve as the general point of contact for APAC Territory stakeholders
- Educate and train stakeholders on the GBS processes
- Guide stakeholders to the correct point of contact and process regarding any sourcing, procurement, travel and expense or invoicing or payment questions
- Manage, support, or execute any local or regional sourcing, procurement or payables activities including requirements gathering, bidding, vendor selection, price analysis, contracting, E2E purchase transactions and payables managing and monitoring
- Proactively makes recommendations to improve policies, processes, procedures training and communication content that are locally & globally managed
- Ensure work is redirected to US team as it relates to any global vendor activities/implementation
- Provides key local or regional information, analytics and insights that help the US teams improve support model
- Provide feedback to design and improve ongoing reporting, dashboards and metrics
- Collaborate with GBS to participate in any key meetings where a local presence is required
- Manage in Territory communications with P2P and OSP POCs to ensure issues or projects are well supported
- Manages, monitors and escalates any issues outside of SLA or not serviced in a timely manner in partnership with global support teams
- Field standard questions and issues that can be immediately answered, leveraging knowledge of key GBS processes
- Liaise with GBS counterparts to identify patterns and root causes that require improvement and support from the GBS US team
