Come join Intuit’s DevX team as Manager 3 Development focused on building the next generation Application Fabric Mobile platform that includes Mobile App development frameworks, tools and runtime orchestration.Application fabric is a critical part of Intuit’s strategy to power critical revenue generating applications like Quickbooks, Turbotax et al. The cutting-edge large scale platform will offer experiences that enable App creators to build and publish new apps. On the technology stack, the leader will be overseeing platform development that spans the latest in web application tooling, Android, IOS based frameworks and runtime and rethinking how they could be seamlessly blended with state of the art collocated experiences across application offerings. Responsibilities

●Leading software development by gathering functional / non-functional requirements,driving technical decisions, teaming and capacity planning.● Lead design, product development of application frameworks, web tooling, appobservability and modern app development experiences● Manage a team of ICs with focus on individual project priorities, deadlines anddeliverables● Result oriented mindset with an affinity to produce high quality platforms● Define, implement, and automate the continuous deployment of highly available,production workloads with zero downtime, along with operational metrics for monitoring● Acting as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring highly talented engineers whiledemonstrating technical expertise and drive solutions for challenging problems● Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies● Engage with the open-source community, collaborate with third-party partners andcontributors● Evangelize the product through blogs, social media, demos and presentations atconferences, and meet-ups

Qualifications

●MS in Computer Science, Data Science or equivalent work experience● 7+ years of experience with at least 3+ years working as manager leading coreapplication development platforms and UI frameworks for business critical applications● Experience building mobile platforms using at least three of Android, IOS, Swift, Java,React, Android, Backend automation● Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English● Relevant experience designing and developing scalable software● Driven, motivated team player with a “Get the Stuff Done” mentality!● Possess practical knowledge and appreciation of various aspects of distributed design,including messaging protocols, APIs, caching strategies and autonomous software designpractices● Have extensive experience with metrics and logging libraries and aggregators, dataanalysis and visualization tools● Passionate about data-driven decision making, as well as automating anything andeverything● Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issuesto both technical and non-technical audience
