Job Overview
Come join the Intuit as a "Senior Software Engineer" for Fullstack. As part of the Data team you will work to enable data workers to easily create and own high-quality data-driven systems, resulFng in smarter product offerings to Intuit customers.
Responsibilities
• Write scalable web applicaFon code following best pracFces of accessibility, internaFonalizaFon and instrumentaFon• Hands-on development. Write highest quality code with utmost aKenFon to scalability and performance• Builds effecFve internal and external relaFonships that are essenFal to delivering a quality so2ware product or service• Stay aware of industry trends and make technology choices and strategic decisions. Subject maKer expert on web technologies• Ability to take a vague customer problem and solve it end to end with accountability
Team/Leadership Characteris:• Team player possessing strong analyFcal, problem solving and communicaFon skills• Strong mentoring skills with ability to provide technical guidance and review code• Ability to work with global teams across Fme zones• Ability to work effecFvely in a fast paced, complex technical environment with high adaptability and flexibility• Experience working with cross-funcFonal teams while maintaining effecFve working relaFonships• Communicates clearly, succinctly and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers and management• "Self-starter" aPtude and the ability to make decisions independently
Qualifications
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience• 5+ years of professional experience delivering enterprise class web applicaFons• 5+ years of professional working experience delivering producFon-ready code• Solid foundaFon in wriFng scalable web applicaFon code following best pracFces of accessibility, internaFonalizaFon and instrumentaFon.• Experience with cross-browser, cross-plaUorm, and design constraints on the web and mobile• Strong OOD and SOA principles, with ability to implement them in a language of choice Solid knowledge of algorithms and design paKerns.• 4+ years of JavaScript applicaFon design and tesFng experience• 4+ Experience in mid-Fer like Node and Java• Experience with test automaFon: TDD, unit/integraFon/funcFonal tesFng.• Experience with RelaFonal Database Design and ImplementaFon• 4+ Years Experience in React frameworks• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Skills:• PracFcal experience in developing applicaFons using microservices, container technologies, container management systems such as Kubernetes, Mesos etc• Strong experience with Databases design (SQL, NoSQL) and analyFcs• Prior working experience in uFlity compuFng and/or cloud compuFng domain highly desired• Experience building and deploying applicaFons and services into cloud environments (AWS highly desired)
