Job Overview
You will be part of a platform team working on cutting edge technologies to enhance and govern security, performance and availability of Intuit products and services. We are looking for a Sr. Full Stack Engineer who, when presented with a problem statement, comes up with scalable solutions and their trade-offs. You will also be responsible to own the end to end delivery from designing and implementing the quality solution, to working with stakeholders and Intuit developers to analyse and define the effectiveness of the solution and following best practises for operational excellence
Responsibilities
- Managing individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Leading the gathering of functional requirements partnering with stakeholders, Desiging technical specifications (HLD & LLD), and setup implementation and test plan.
- Demonstrate high operational excellence mindset.
- Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
- Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments
- Work with cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product team and developers to drive forward results
- To showcase result oriented mindset with an affinity to produce high quality code
- Have a customer first mindset.
Qualifications
- BS/MS/B.Tech in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years working as a software engineer, ideally using Agile/Scrum
- Solid Hands-on full stack coding experience with a preferrable skill set of React, Type script, Java & Spring boot, RDBMS.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML core concepts.
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application
- An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Strong working knowledge of API development standards like REST/GraphQL protocol, pagination, throttling, caching and routing mechanisms.
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns.
- Ability to learn quickly, pivot, visualize and own a feature end-to-end.
- Experience working with Cloud platforms development e.g. AWS/ Kubernetes/Container platforms based development
- Experience working with mature codebases
- An understanding of unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems
- Strong exhibition of Growth mindset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of scalable solutions design and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
