We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Join - Virtual Expert Platform ( VEP ) as a Software Engineer 2, Salesforce Full-stack. Our team is at the forefront of leveraging the Salesforce platform to deliver innovative and robust solutions that directly impact our customers and business operations. We build scalable, high-performance applications that integrate seamlessly across our ecosystem. If you're passionate about end-to-end development on Salesforce, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to contribute to significant projects that drive business outcomes, you'll find a challenging and rewarding home with us. We value continuous learning, technical excellence, and a supportive team dynamic.
Your Impact
As a Software Engineer 2, Salesforce Full-stack, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and delivery of high-quality Salesforce-based applications and integrations. You'll work across the full stack, from sophisticated Apex logic and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to seamless API integrations, ensuring our solutions are robust, scalable, and meet critical business needs. This role offers the opportunity to drive technical solutions, mentor engineers, and significantly influence our development practices. You'll also explore and implement solutions that may leverage AWS services for data processing or integration, and potentially contribute to projects that intersect with data engineering pipelines or AI/ML-driven insights that enhance our CRM capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
- Develop robust integrations between Salesforce and external systems, potentially leveraging AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, S3) for efficient data flow and processing, using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration patterns.
- Contribute significantly to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, technical design, coding (approximately 80-95% hands-on), testing, and deployment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and maintainability.
- Diagnose and resolve complex defects during QA, pre-production, and post-release cycles, ensuring system stability and reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, QA/QE, and other engineering teams to define requirements, drive solutions, and deliver against aggressive timelines.
- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Champion engineering excellence, advocating for best practices in coding standards, testing (including unit and integration tests), and deployment automation.
- Potentially contribute to projects involving data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from Salesforce to data warehousing solutions, or integrating AI/ML model outputs into Salesforce workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical work experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience developing and delivering high-quality web or software applications.
- 4+ years of hands-on development experience on the Salesforce platform, specifically with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and/or Aura Components.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits, best practices, and security model.
- Proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, C#, Python, or similar.
- Proven experience with web services (REST and/or SOAP APIs) for system integrations.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience with at least one core service (e.g., Lambda, S3, SQS, EC2, DynamoDB) for building scalable and integrated solutions.
- Understanding of data engineering concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, and working with structured/unstructured data.
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) concepts and an understanding of how they can be applied to enhance business processes or insights.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
- Experience with unit testing and a strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering against assigned tasks in complex environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to take ownership of problems and drive solutions independently.
- Demonstrated passion for learning new technologies and applying technical skills to solve customer problems.
