From creating new features and enhancingexisting ones to streamlining processes, you'll have the freedom to explore new ideas andcollaborate with cross-functional teams. Design is crucial at Intuit and collaborates closely with Product Management and Engineering leaders to provide a strong design voice to guide the customer experience vision and strategy. They also use their deep knowledge of customer behavior to drive designjudgment, while leveraging solid analytics and experimentation frameworks to makedecisions with quantitative and qualitative data.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities● Encourage the team to explore bold ideas and broaden their horizons to foster innovation and accelerate learning, leading to confident launches of new offerings in the market● Develop an inspiring design vision and strategy that promotes innovation and clarity among stakeholders and teams● Build strategic relationships and advocate for stakeholder alignment towards a shared experience vision● Utilize storytelling and prototyping tactics to amplify customer stories and evoke strong emotional responses, driving accountability and action● Act as a role model in identifying leap-of-faith assumptions and executing experimentation plans with clearly defined hypotheses and meaningful metrics● Deliver multiple projects simultaneously through robust communication and time management skills● Participate in and analyze extensive customer research to identify insights that will ultimately provide customer value and delight● Participate in and promote a culture of detailed feedback rooted in first principles, design rationale, customer data, and industry best practices● Provide craft mentorship to co-ops and early career designers
Qualifications
Qualifications● Bachelor's or master's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or related field and/or a portfolio demonstrates excellent interaction and visual design● Experience designing products with high degrees of complexity and cross-product interdependencies● A strong understanding of UX first principles and information architecture● The ability to bring stakeholders together, obtain, and synthesize their feedback to create unique products● Experience facilitating workshops and conceptualizing ideas with disciplines outside of the Design team● Experience working in an environment of rapid experimentation and using data to drive your decisions● Comfort with ambiguity and working in environments where the end state is not clearly defined and experimentation is necessary.● Strong business acumen and experience in managing multiple stakeholders and senior leadership expectations● Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries● Experience designing for accessibility and knowledgeable in usability● A background in FinTech is preferred but not required
