Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group is devoted to the mission of helping small businesses and mid-market enterprises prosper. The QuickBooks Desktop Suite of Products team at Intuit solves for the needs of our customers - be it getting paid faster, managing their expenses, understanding their financial health or gaining insights on how to maintain their profitability. We are looking for candidates who have product management experience in building platforms and customer workflows at scale and a deep understanding of those platforms balanced with customer empathy, strong execution capability, and a track record of building strong business partnerships and delivering impactful business results. As a product manager in this group, you will have the opportunity to solve business-critical problems via leading-edge products. You will work with other product managers on Intuit’s product strategy with a particular emphasis on improving end to end experiences for our customers. 

Responsibilities

  • Drive team alignment on target customers, connecting personas with product strategy to drive business outcomes.
  • Define product strategy for offering/capability in order to drive business growth.
  • Create in-depth product expertise across the products their customer uses and translate customer needs into impactful customer roadmaps.
  • Facilitate cross functional team to deliver innovative solutions that balance customer and business impact while also owning the responsibility for delivering goals.
  • Partner with engineering to define technology approaches and influence technical decisions to solve customer problems.
  • Effectively manage dependencies, priorities, and plans across different groups at Intuit towards consistent product delivery aligned towards common goals.
  • Find opportunities to accelerate customer outcomes through AI.
  • Demonstrate a high bar for product excellence (products that are high quality, easy to use, and have product market fit).
  • Identifies areas for improvement across processes, tools, and systems to enable optimal E2E experiences.

Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience delivering world-class platform products that solve big customer needs, specifically in developer tools space

  • Has experience working with tools and systems used in building cloud, native, web & mobile apps. Solid understanding of end to end development processes
  • Has a good understanding of defining and building user experiences and can work with designers.
  • Has worked in an Agile development setting and can drive backlog grooming and prioritization.
  • Product development and technical background, either as an engineer or in a previous technical role with prior hands-on development experience or in developing and presentation of technical demos.
  • Proven experience in defining the product vision and inspiring teams to deliver innovations and impactful products.
  • Ability to take end-to-end responsibility for the product’s success.
  • Ability to work closely with customers and partners listening and taking a customer-focused approach to defining strategy and setting priorities demonstrating a passion for the customer.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills - leading execution across teams, influencing across organizations in small teams, and larger group presentation formats.
