Job Overview
Join the GenAI CodeGen platform as a Staff Engineer to significantly enhance developer productivity. In this role, you will develop and implement cutting-edge solutions to enable speed and agility through the development experience.
We are looking for a highly motivated and creative problem solver with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GenAI Code Generation tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered code generation tools.
- Enhance the developer experience by integrating GenAI capabilities into the development workflow.
- Implement best practices for AI model integration, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and deployment.
- Drive the adoption of GenAI tools across the organization by providing training and support to developers.
- Continuously monitor and improve the performance and reliability of the GenAI tools.
- Contribute to the roadmap and strategy for GenAI-powered development at Intuit.
- Good communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple customers patiently and resolve issues without friction.
- Must be good with troubleshooting. Should be able to set up and use the right monitoring, alerting, logging systems in addition to looking at new issues that do not have data in these systems.
- Should be a self-starter, quick learner, self-motivated and able to run independently .
- Expertise as the technical subject matter expert: Mentoring fellow engineers, demonstrating technical expertise, and leading a small team solving challenging programming and design problems
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar.
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and frameworks.
- Familiarity with modern development tools and practices, including CI/CD, version control, and code reviews.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Passion for innovation and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and software development.
- 5 years of experience working in an enterprise hosting complex systems.
- Programming language experience is a must-have, e.g., Java, Python. Familiarity with jar and war structures is helpful.
- 5 years of experience with front-end development using React.js.
- 5 years of experience in Node.js and frameworks like Express, Loopback, Meteor, etc.
- Experience with cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of container systems (Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., ECS/EKS, Kubernetes).
- Experience with back-end integration, web services & APIs (GRPS, REST/OData/GraphQL, JSON, XML, ProtoBuf).
- Ability to evaluate design approaches, tools, build frameworks, and improve existing systems.
- Experience with build systems, CI/CD tools (like AWS DevOps, Jenkins), and applicationanalytics/monitoring.
- Experience with git and GitHub repositories.
- Experience with Nexus and Artifactory.
- Experience using package managers, including yum, rpm, and apt.
- Strong Linux/Unix background and advanced bash scripting knowledge.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in coding and operations. Vulnerability management experience is a plus.
- Experience with metrics, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Splunk, Wavefront, AppDynamics, Prometheus, PagerDuty.
- Experience working in a cross-region setup collaborating with multiple geographically separated engineering centers.
- Experience in building AI/ML applications using tools like LangChain, Google Datalab, etc., will be advantageous.
- Experience in data vector embedding.
