Job Overview
The Marketing Director is a key member of the EMEA Leadership Team reporting to the VP of EMEA and is responsible for all marketing activity for the EMEA region. This role is highly commercial and strategic driving business and brand outcomes. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketing Director for the EMEA region to lead and scale our marketing efforts. This role is ideal for an experienced SaaS marketing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive customer & revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Planning
- Own and execute EMEA’s marketing strategy and planning across all products and channels on our platform over 1–3-year lens
- Envision strong marketing strategies and execution plans that step-change Intuit’s’ growth and realize our significant market opportunity across SMEs and Mid-Market
- Develop powerful go-to-market programs and campaigns supported by proactive management, clear accountability, and excellence in Marketing Science.
- Building data-driven and strategic discipline for Intuit EMEA, focused on driving business outcomes
- Collaborate internally and externally with partners to build marketing muscle to address commercial and brand outcomes (Advertising to Product Marketing to LCM). Leverage
- Intuit QuickBooks and Mailchimp US and international best practices and assets to maximize EMEA marketing impact
Leadership and Talent Management
- Attract and inspire world-class marketing talent that drives business results
- Proven track record in senior marketing strategy and/or operations experience at a matrixed tech company, partnering with officers and executives across all functions
- Align the marketing organization with the business (product) and marketing strategy and ensure the capacity to deliver sustainable business growth
- Nurture a performance culture that enables all marketing employees to do the best work of their lives
Operational Excellence & Business Results Driven
- Demand generation and subscription growth, drive regional campaigns across all channels including digital, content, events, partners, sponsorships, and above the line to support pipeline and revenue impact.
- Localization—adapts global campaigns and messaging for local market relevance across EMEA
- Field marketing; collaborate closely with sales teams to execute field initiatives including account-base marketing, regional events and webinars
- Budget and performance management; own regional budget, measure performance through KPIs such as CPLs, MQLs, SQLs, pipeline contribution, ROI, CAC, LTV that ultimately drives action and results re customer growth, solution adoption & revenue growth, with a specific lens on Mid-Market performance.
- Experience working with Life Cycle Marketing, Martech and AI as an enabler of GTM effectiveness is ideal, with innovative agency and partnership models to drive better outcomes.
Qualifications
- Ideally, deep expertise and experience in Mid-Market focused B2B marketing and some experience in B2C performance-oriented marketing.
- Demonstrated success in leading marketing strategy, plans & execution that drives business results across multiple EMEA countries, with a proven focus on the Mid-Market segment.
- Proven success in marketing, advertising, or business development leadership across B2B, with some B2C exposure.
- Strong understanding of verticalized marketing approaches within platform-led businesses to answer customer jobs to be done at scale.
