As a Group Sales Manager, you will lead our Outsource Workforce composed of our BPO sales consultants. This team will support our outsourced SMB Sales Teams, focused on both SMB as well as partners (Accountants & Agencies).   Responsibility will include both operations and outcomes across third party sites. You’ll collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams across Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing, Learning & Development, etc. to build and execute strategies to accelerate ecosystem growth.

Part of our Global Business Solutions Group, Inbound Sales is a multi-channel organization focused on building customer confidence by providing Small Business expertise in every interaction.  Our Group Sales Managers are expected to have great people development skills, think analytically, and be able to balance both short and long-term outcomes – all while being an effective communicator to influence strategy.  Across all our channels and workgroups, Inside Sales is responsible for acquiring new users and growing our existing customers’ usage of the Intuit ecosystem of products.

We work in a hybrid model in Victoria, London, and our teams come into the office 3 x days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Creates a team structure and culture that fosters learning, innovation and executional excellence
  • Accountable for sales and unit targets, identify trends leveraging performance metrics & observation, communicate root cause and make recommendations to accelerate growth
  • Identify and establish key actions that lead to business outcomes aligned to our financial targets for this segement
  • Cares deeply about sales as a craft and is both a master teacher and coach to sales methodology
  • Identifies key gaps in sales conversations & teaches/partners with outsource leadership teams to do the same, coach with inquiry and enable leaders to deliver improved business outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Internal/External: Sales Ops, Finance, Marketing, L&D) to build revenue and unit plans, compensation targets, staffing forecasts, new hire ramps, sales processes, etc.
  • Prepare presentations, share out results, deliver project updates, and lead conversations with executives and Sr. Leadership within the org and supporting organizations like Customer Success, Marketing, Operations, and Sales
  • Develop strategies that will drive better customer experiences, higher conversion & close rates and sales consultant efficiencies
  • Identifies new opportunities based on customer insights, competitive research, and industry trends. Size & analyze opportunities and make data backed recommendations including ROI
  • Be a driver for hiring best in class awesome talent and continually setting the foundation for a collaborative and passionate team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience leading contingent and/or BPO sales teams within a consultative-based environment
  • 5+ years of consultative sales experience in a technology environment selling complex solutions and/or SaaS offerings to businesses
  • Experience leveraging AI Tech to support and build consultant expertise
  • Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving experience with in-depth understanding of sales levers, metrics, performance standards and sales methodology
  • A demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative culture that places a premium on consistently performing at the highest level in an extremely fast paced, dynamic and high growth environment
  • Passionate and skilled communicator who can articulate a vision in a clear and compelling way that instantly generates excitement, enthusiasm, and a commitment to the vision with their team, peers, and external partners
  • Experience building and inspiring high performing sales leaders and demonstrated evidence of developing and implementing execution strategies to effectively lead, coach and balance both short- & long-term goals
