Job Overview

Intuit's Corporate Strategy & Development (CS&D) team is charted with defining and accelerating the company’s top growth priorities through strategy, M&A, and partnerships. We work on highly visible, direction-setting strategy and acquisition initiatives at the corporate level and across all of Intuit’s businesses. The team is focused on identifying, evaluating and executing on opportunities to drive growth. We collaborate closely with the senior executive team to define both the company’s overall

strategy as well as strategies for specific business lines. Our projects often mirror the work at top strategy consulting firms and investment banks, but with an emphasis on driving impact in close collaboration with product and business leaders. The role offers significant exposure to senior leaders across the company as well as greater responsibility and career progression than often found in professional services.

This role is to join Intuit’s International Corporate Strategy team, with specific focus on the top strategic growth opportunities in Intuit’s international markets, including the UK, Canada, Australia and Europe. It is essential that the individual selected for this position is able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization, and be viewed as a team player. The CS&D team is viewed as a source of leaders within Intuit and the individual will be expected to employ exceptional leadership skills and a learning mindset to be successful.

Responsibilities

You will lead cross-functional initiatives working with other strategy team members, and with business unit and functional team members, developing expertise across Intuit’s businesses (Consumer, B2B) and functions. Engagements focus on a range of topics, including customer discovery and customer data analysis, economic and financial analysis, new market entry, and innovating new products and business models. You will drive company level strategy and the agendas of senior leaders, including the International business leader, the CEO, and Board of Directors. It is essential that you are able to quickly establish rapport, credibility, trust, and respect throughout the organization, and be viewed as a team player. The CS&D team is viewed as a source of leaders within Intuit and the individual will be expected to employ exceptional leadership skills and a learning mindset to be successful.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Frame and structure problems and develop hypotheses that drive the appropriate research and analysis
  • Take ownership for significant portions of strategy development and generate creative, action-oriented insights and recommendations
  • Perform data driven quantitative and qualitative analysis on core strategic issues through research and customer and expert interviews
  • Engage with key stakeholders across Intuit’s BUs to develop recommendations and generate impactful outcomes
  • Author and deliver high-impact presentations and plans to senior management
  • Understand and stay current with the competitive landscape for Intuit’s products in its international markets, with a focus on emerging trends and business conditions

The team working model is hybrid, with 2-3 days per week in the London office.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of total work experience including 2+ years with a top-tier strategy consulting firm or experience in a respected operating company’s strategy function (MBA preferred)
  • Experience owning and managing relationships with senior business stakeholders in the context of challenging cross-functional / cross-organizational projects
  • Excellent quantitative analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, and a keen business sense
  • Ability to both lead and support, willing to “go the extra mile” for project and his/her team
  • Superior communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills, and the ability to quickly synthesize information, structure a concise, clear presentation of findings to an executive audience, and prioritize issues as appropriate
  • Desire for an environment of active developmental feedback
  • Passion for excellence and the desire to have a significant impact
  • Highly self-motivated and seeking to proactively take on leadership roles within projects
  • Experience in international markets (e.g., UK, Canada, or Australia) required
