Our Mid-Market (MM) vision is to be the best business solution in the industry for MM customers, delivering a personalized human engagement throughout the entire journey with deep expertise in their industry.  MM customers expect a customized software, support and services solution.  We are looking for an experienced Sales leader with deep business expertise with the mid-market and a strong track record of leading transformational change who can help us win in this space.

The Director, Mid-Market Sales New to the Franchise will be responsible for the successful scaling and development of the Mid-Market (MM) sales team, leading an aggressive sales-led GTM operation against specific customer segments for customers new to the franchise. Additionally, this role will prioritize the sale of IES products to this customer base and streamline the MM sales process to accelerate revenue growth and fulfill our BB5 commitments.  This role will focus on developing a strategy on how to attract new mid-market customers to the Intuit ecosystem. Collaborating closely with the mid-market cross-functional leadership team, this role will contribute to the continuous evolution of strategy and optimal approach for scaling in mid-market.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale a team leading an aggressive sales-led GTM operation against specific customer segments for customers new to the franchise
  • Set the vision and strategy for how to win in the mid-market by attracting and acquiring customers new to the Intuit ecosystem; align cross-functional partners against operational plans
  • Develop and execute a multi-year business plan to achieve long-term sales objectives and growth
  • Drive transformation by developing internal processes, tools, systems and metrics to ensure operational excellence
  • Design and execute a modern sales playbook to unlock sales productivity
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent to build a world-class sales organization
  • Understand customer needs and work collaboratively to deliver solutions that meet these needs while accelerating revenue growth
  • Advance account management and enterprise sales capabilities
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans in response to sales performance, pipeline and forecast data
  • Effectively balance domain expertise and leadership capability to drive impact and results

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS /enterprise sales leadership or similar role within a B2B environment serving SMB customers
  • A background in FinTech is preferred.
  • Expertise in digital sales processes, digital platforms, technical markets, pricing models, measurement platforms, technology trends, customer buying patterns and budgeting
  • Strong sales and business development expertise, with a solid understanding of sales disciplines, enterprise sales and account management
  • Proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth
  • Experience leading large, distributed sales teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates E2E thinking with multi-disciplinary experience and assignments

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $251,000 - $339,500, Colorado $257,500 - $348,500, Bay Area California $286,500-387,500, Southern California $281,500-381,000, Washington $270,500 - $365,500, Washington D.C. $257,500 - $348,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
