The Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team at Intuit is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting and analysis. As the central planning group for the entire company, Corporate FP&A plays a unique and critical role in driving business decisions and optimizing financial outcomes. Corporate FP&A determines and communicates financial goals and targets to each of Intuit’s business segments, and then consolidates and monitors financial performance against those goals to ensure Intuit is reaching its objectives. The group is also charged with developing presentations to Corporate senior management and the Board of Directors regarding company financial performance.

Reporting to the Director, Corporate FP&A, the Manager of Corporate FP&A is a key member of Intuit’s Finance team. This leader will drive strategic business partnership with Finance and executive leaders, ensuring that Intuit’s planning process and operational rigor are world class. This role will require a strong understanding of Intuit’s mission as well as business priorities across customer and product segments. This is a highly visible role within the Finance team and requires someone who is a strong leader and communicator. The ideal candidate will possess both a deep understanding of financial theory (IRR, ROI, valuation, capital allocation, financial modeling, etc.) and tactical FP&A experience (managing budgets, variance analysis, financial systems, accounting, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Work with Intuit executives and Finance leaders as a strategic partner to deeply understand long-term business objectives and uncover opportunities to accelerate growth and drive efficiencies
  • Drive company-wide financial planning through annual “3- and 1-year” financial plan, establishing financial targets for each of Intuit’s business segments to optimize Intuit’s overall financial performance, coordinating process/calendar to ensure smooth execution and authoring presentation materials for Executive and Board of Directors reviews
  • Work with Intuit’s Finance organization to produce detailed “Forecast” of earnings and cash flow in Month 1 of the quarter and higher-level “Estimate” in Month 3
  • Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results, including preparing internal and external reporting deliverables and analyzing and explaining trends & drivers
  • Own corporate FP&A calendar and communicate with business unit and functional FP&A leaders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables
  • Author financial presentations for CFO and Board of Directors
  • Partner across FP&A to continuously improve processes and tools to drive scale
  • Partner with Investor Relations and the SEC reporting teams in preparing content for earnings releases, fact sheet, external reporting and SEC filings
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Strategy, Business Operations, Accounting and IT, to drive company-wide analyses and insights
  • Provide analysis, insight and recommendations for ad hoc strategic, financial, analytical and M&A projects as required
  • Lead and develop a Corporate FP&A team of 2 professionals by promoting a positive, high-performing and growth-oriented environment that consistently delivers results

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $$187,000 - 253,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
