Job Overview

TurboTax is on the hunt for an exceptional Lifecycle and Digital Marketing Leader to pioneer our newly formed CRM Channel Growth and Innovation team. This role calls for a visionary strategist and technical expert with a profound grasp of CRM systems and their critical role in achieving core business objectives. You will be instrumental in launching cutting-edge lead capture and nurture strategies, driving personalization capabilities, shaping our long-term CRM strategic vision, and accelerating channel growth across diverse business segments.

Responsibilities

As the Group Marketing Manager for CRM Strategic Growth and Innovation, you will:

  • Define and Execute Strategy: Develop the strategic vision and requirements for lead capture and generation, specifically supporting the expansion of TurboTax’s Full Service and Business Tax segments.
  • Pioneer New Capabilities: Lead the development and launch of nurturing communications across multiple CRM channels, enabling new engagement opportunities.
  • Drive Personalization: Chart TurboTax’s personalization roadmap, leveraging our rich data to deliver hyper-relevant solutions and actions within CRM communications.
  • Architect Customer Experiences: Design comprehensive customer journeys by seamlessly integrating CRM strategies and personalization with product offerings to elevate user interactions across all platforms.
  • Enhance Automation: Champion the improvement of CRM’s automation capabilities, identifying and implementing new technologies for real-time customer interactions, both in-product and out-of-product.
  • Shape Long-Term Vision: Articulate and champion a long-term vision for CRM channel growth and innovation, ensuring alignment with TurboTax’s overarching strategic goals.
  • Optimize CRM Tech Stack: Provide expert consultation on the enhancement and expansion of the existing CRM technology stack to foster innovation, boost efficiency, and enable new business capabilities.
  • Manage CRM as a Product: Define the solutions blueprint and functionality requirements to guide the development and integration of CRM systems, treating CRM as a core product.
  • Accelerate Channel Growth: Lead initiatives focused on improving customer health and engagement, while pioneering new channel strategies for sustained CRM growth.
  • Govern Data Protocols: Establish and manage complex customer data protocols, including rules for contactable records across diverse marketing channels.
  • Lead Mobile Innovation: Act as the mobile growth strategist and expert, driving innovation specifically in mobile channel activation.
  • Bridge Product & CRM: Serve as the crucial liaison between the CRM team and Product/Technology departments, ensuring seamless integration and support of CRM needs within broader product strategies.
  • Cultivate Ecosystems: Construct and oversee a multi-brand/product CRM ecosystem, fostering strong alignment and collaboration with internal partners across Intuit brands like Credit Karma, QuickBooks, Business Tax, and Digital Media.

Southern California -217259-275500

Qualifications

We are looking for a leader with:

  • Extensive CRM Marketing Expertise: 5-7+ years of experience managing large-scale, complex CRM marketing campaigns, with deep proficiency in email and/or mobile channels. Proven ability to design, oversee, and optimize campaigns to meet strategic business goals.
  • Lead Generation & Nurture Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful lead generation and nurture programs across various channels, converting prospects into engaged customers.
  • Data-Driven Acumen: A strong foundation in understanding and leveraging data to fuel CRM programs. Demonstrated capability to orchestrate strategic campaigns and drive personalization through data extraction, analysis, and actionable insights. Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and data teams to define requirements and translate vision into execution.
  • Strategic Leadership: A proven track record as a strategic thinker capable of conceptualizing long-term visions, developing robust business cases, and gaining buy-in from senior leadership.
  • Mobile Marketing Authority: Expert knowledge of mobile marketing channels, including best practices and effective leverage of mobile-specific data.
  • CRM & Business Strategy Development: Demonstrable skill in developing intricate business and CRM strategies, crafting engaging customer experiences and journeys across multiple communication channels, and creating targeted content that solves specific customer challenges.
  • Exceptional Project Management & Communication: Outstanding organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Experience managing cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with enterprise-level marketing cloud solutions and CRM tech stacks, including Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Email Service Providers (ESPs).
  • Visionary & Bold Leadership: A truly innovative and bold approach to market strategy development and execution, coupled with a fearless attitude towards implementing transformative ideas.
  • Complex Customer Base Management: Comprehensive understanding of the nuances involved in managing a vast and diverse customer base, ensuring strategies align with customer needs and business objectives.
