Job Overview

Group Marketing Manager,  Accountant GTM Marketing will be responsible for the omni-channel awareness campaigns to drive adoption of the QuickBooks portfolio through accountants. 

The U.S. Online Accountant Marketing team in Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) is responsible for growing revenue and market share for our range of online accounting products representing > 20% of ecosystem acquisition . This team develops deep customer insights and product expertise to define target customer audiences, winning positioning and messaging, and GTM strategies while partnering with cross-functional teams to execute. The team partners closely with Product Management, Analytics, Research, Design, Finance and Operations teams utilizing insights to inform product and commercialization roadmaps. This team is responsible for both in-year revenue and customer goals, as well as influencing strategy for our 3-year plan.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives, including development of clear action plans, identification of success metrics and targets, and management of timelines.
  • Leverage customer insights, competitive understanding, and data analytics to unlock growth opportunities and influence product and messaging roadmaps.
  • Size new opportunities and articulate actionable recommendations that drive business impact; proactively identify roadblocks and suggest alternative solutions.
  • Leverage the appropriate learning strategies, including qualitative and quantitative consumer research and A/B in-market testing to roll-out experiences and creative that deliver improved business outcomes.
  • Develop clear strategy briefs that translate customer insights into impactful benefits and reasons to believe.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Analytics, Finance, Acquisition Channel, Lifecycle Marketing and Research teams to create and deliver seamless customer and partner experiences.
  • Proactively analyze business data to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results.
  • Develop messaging hierarchy and positioning for continuous roll-out of new features, with an eye towards providing robust value differentiation
  • Enable the go-to-market and partner teams by creating the messaging, positioning and enablement materials to be used across key channels and customer segments
  • Lead development of marketing assets (e.g. videos, playbooks, etc) to support the value proposition
  • Represent the voice of the customer at the table and provide product marketing leadership across product, marketing, sales and other partner teams

 

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:

 

Bay Area California: 213500-289000

Southern California 203500-275500

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of business experience in product and/or sales marketing within SaaS/Technology companies.
  • Go-to-Market Expertise: Proven experience driving activation of marketing campaigns to reach goals by building both broad and targeted tactics. Designing and executing customer content strategies as well as leading teams in tactical execution. . 
  • Business Ownership: Strong command of the business and identifying opportunities to pivot or accelerate to address revenue goals.
  • Customer Obsessed: Leads with customer inquiry, obsessively seeks new insights that help shape and drive our product roadmap, and advocates internally and externally on behalf of our customers.
  • Strategic and Analytical: Experience with both qualitative and quantitative customer research. Ability to quickly analyze and synthesize data from a variety of sources and distill into clear, concise recommendations for an executive audience. Proven ability to leverage data to measure marketing performance, inform growth opportunities and business case development.
  • People manager: Experience leading and cultivating a team.

  • Compelling Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communications, with an adaptable voice to communicate externally and engage with our growing business accounts.

  • Collaborator & Influencer: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment. Ability to interact with colleagues of all levels in a peer-like way.
  • BA/BA required or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred
