With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. Job Overview

The QuickBooks Capital Servicing & Collections team is looking for a seasoned leader to own the oversight and performance of our third-party vendors. This role is responsible for ensuring vendor partners are delivering against contractual obligations, compliance requirements, and internal performance standards. As our vendor footprint expands, this leader will build scalable frameworks for governance, QA, issue remediation, and partner enablement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic lead for all external vendors supporting customer-facing operations and back office support functions, including BPOs, collection agencies, and servicers
  • Establish and manage end-to-end vendor governance processes, including onboarding, SLAs, KPIs, and ongoing monitoring
  • Own vendor performance management: track metrics, conduct business reviews, and lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure vendor compliance with regulatory obligations and internal controls, in partnership with Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams
  • Develop and implement controls and testing frameworks (e.g., QA programs, audits, playbook reviews) to mitigate operational and reputational risk
  • Oversee contractual relationships, billing accuracy, and issue escalation pathways
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Compliance, Business Ops, Finance) to align vendor performance with business goals
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting on vendor health, risk, and remediation plans

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in vendor management, compliance, or operations within fintech, lending, or financial services
  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to third-party oversight (e.g., CFPB, GLBA, UDAAP)
  • Proven ability to design scalable governance frameworks and vendor controls
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, particularly in navigating Legal, Risk, and Compliance partners
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate trends, surface issues, and drive accountability

Preferred:

  • Experience with leveraging BPOs for Loan Servicing, Collections or Sales
  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, QA platforms, or servicing systems
  • Background in managing audits and control frameworks is a plus
