Job Overview

Come join the Intuit's Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) as a Senior Manager for the QuickBooks Desktop Analytics team! 

This is a team leader role that will help drive the data and analytics vision within the Desktop segment, and ensure we are building and executing on our migration strategy to QuickBooks Online.

In this role, you will lead a team of analysts responsible for the measurement, insights, and optimization efforts across product and marketing. You will leverage the comprehensive suite of analytics tools and capabilities at our disposal and support senior leaders in driving the right product and go-to-market decisions required to maximize customer benefit and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a world class team of product analysts, coaching technical and strategic skill sets, especially in advanced analytics, applied data science, and modeling
  • Drive the data and analytics strategic vision within Desktop Analytics to maximize depth of insight, speed of decision-making, and pace of learning
  • Define the team charter and own the prioritization of work against that charter to maximize impact
  • Be a central analytics leader across cross-functional teams, driving analytics thought leadership and supporting business leaders in making key product and marketing decisions
  • Oversee the delivery of product measurement, experimentation, data enablement, dashboarding and reporting needs to product and go-to-market partners
  • Maintain and improve data infrastructure, working with data engineers to collect critical data from upstream sources, improve the durability of data pipelines, and construct data models to enable analytics use cases

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience driving analytical solutions and roadmaps for product organizations
  • 1-2 years of experience leading teams of data analysts or data scientists with a strong ability to coach and develop others
  • Domain expertise in product analytics, including funnel analytics and engagement/usage/retention analytics
  • Proven ability to organize and lead cross-functional analytical projects end-to-end
  • Strong data storytelling skills and ability to influence senior leaders
  • Prior hands-on experience in advanced statistical analysis, controlled experimentation, and applied data science
  • Strong practical ability to read and write SQL required, experience with data and analytics solutions on cloud platforms including AWS and big data technologies preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or business/economics or equivalent work experience, MS degree preferred
