Responsibilities

Leaders at Intuit inspire others through action by creating a spirit of collaboration.● In this role, you will help to bring out the best ideas from talented engineers by empowering them and leading by example in the development of our Agentic Experiences.● Your team will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying software solutions that enhance the capabilities of Accountants and Live Experts within the QuickBooks ecosystem, enabling them to more effectively and efficiently solve customer problems. This includes building intelligent workflows, building AI agents, leveraging AI and automation, and creating intuitive user interfaces.● To accomplish this, you will create a shared technical vision for our Agentic Experiences and build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and alignment with partners across the business (e.g., Product Management, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and Quality Assurance).● You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of key initiatives, ensuring high quality, scalability, and reliability of our software.● You will foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within your team.● You will mentor and develop engineers, helping them grow their technical skills and advance their careers.● You will actively participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall technical direction of the QBLive platform.● You will stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, automation, and related technologies to identify opportunities for enhancing our Agentic Experiences.
Qualifications
● 5+ years of experience as an established technical leader of software engineering teams that have successfully delivered customer-driven software products, ideally with experience in building intelligent applications or platforms.● Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams focused on quality and timely delivery.● Adept at articulating the technical vision for Agentic Experiences and driving the future roadmap with strong business acumen and a customer-centric approach.● Strong ability to think and act strategically, considering the needs of both our customers (QuickBooks users) and our internal experts (Accountants and Live Experts).● Passion for being at the leading edge of technology, with a minimum of 10-12 years of hands-on software development experience in relevant technologies (e.g., cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, microservices architecture, data engineering, APIs). Experience with AI/ML concepts andapplications is a strong plus.● Proven experience with Agile development methodologies and building SaaS applications. Experience with real-time communication platforms or customer support technologies is beneficial.● Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.● BS in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent work-related experience.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Bay Area California $231,000 - $312,000
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
