The Fintech Product PMO’s Mission is to accelerate the outcomes of the organization by driving for clarity among chaos and uniting cross-functional teams to operate with velocity. We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and strategic technical program leader to grow and develop a talented team of TPMs. The candidate should understand how to operate in a highly leveraged platform team, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and drive customer outcomes across Intuit. The right candidate for this role is someone who has a strong technical, product, and program background in an agile environment, is invigorated by working within a large, complex organization, and has superpower abilities to communicate and influence at all levels. She/He will have a relentless focus on the customer, use data to inform decision making, and will be strategically focused to build durable platform solutions for our most important customer problems. 

Responsibilities

  • As a member of the Fintech PMO leadership team, you will own and drive the portfolio of programs that deliver on Intuit’s most important customer problems in a highly leveraged platform capability org, with exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Responsible for driving planning, execution, and delivery for multiple teams in partnership with engineering, product management, operations, business units/segments across Intuit and other cross functional groups to deliver successful product releases
  • Includes offering independent assessment and recommendations to drive the right decisions and outcomes, zooming out to see the big picture, bringing clarity on the goals and mission, but also being able to drill into details when needed and driving transformational change to promote continuous improvement
  • Aligning central PMO processes, tools, and best practices within the Fintech organization and helping drive transparency and visibility across the organization
  • Directly and indirectly manage a group of up to 10 program managers across geographies and across different experience levels, providing guidance on developing and managing objectives, career development, coaching, mentoring, recruiting, removing obstacles, and other functions required to build and operate a high performing team

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS product development and release management with direct experience working with multiple scrum teams using Agile         
  • Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize and motivate teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity; adapt to and manage change quickly  
  • Thrive in a culture of ownership, delivery, and innovation  
  • 5+ years experience leading a team of program managers
  • Ability to traverse both vertically and horizontally in a large organization         
  • Excellent balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and can execute and deliver successfully in situations where authority is not a given       
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally  
  • Effective presenter, negotiator, collaborator - regardless of organizational structure or hierarchy         
  • Equally passionate about business and technology         
  • Ability to handle a rapidly changing environment
  • Professional, team player with strong leadership and interpersonal skills  
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent technical experience required

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $212000-287000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
