Job Overview
Cash flow and expense management are critical aspects of any SMB's financial health. Intuit’s GlobalBusiness Solutions Group (GBSG), the home of QuickBooks, aims to provide unparalleled tools thathelp small businesses thrive. Our Money Out team focuses on delivering solutions that streamline billpay and expense management. We are looking for a Strategy & Biz Ops Principal to support thismission and drive growth in our Money Out business.This position requires strong strategic problem solving and communication skills, the ability to influenceand develop productive partnerships at all levels of the organization, and a strong understanding ofIntuit’s mission and values. This is a role with broad exposure to many senior leaders.You will report to the Head of Strategy & Biz Ops for the Money portfolio and work closely withcross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Data Analytics, Finance, Partnerships, andBusiness Development to solve our customers’ problems and accelerate growth.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Mountain View, CA $197,500 - $267,000
San Diego, CA $190,500 - $257,500This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. Responsibilities
● Strategy development: Develop and implement a long-term strategy for our Money Outbusiness, encompassing bill pay and expense management.● Operational oversight: Monitor and improve key performance metrics for the Money Outbusiness, leveraging data analytics to drive performance and reliability.● Uncover opportunity: Dive deep into the performance drivers to uncover opportunities toaccelerate growth.● Cross-functional leadership: Partner with various teams to evaluate and enhance our serviceoffering, focusing on customer experience, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.● Process optimization: Identify opportunities for workflow automation and innovative solutionsto optimize new and existing processes.● Project leadership: Spearhead internal projects to expand and refine our Money Outcapabilities.● Stakeholder communication: Serve as the conduit between the Money Out business andother GBSG & Intuit businesses, ensuring alignment on priorities, progress, and challenges.● Team mentorship: Mentor and develop a high-performing cross-functional team, instilling aculture of analytic rigor across the Money Out org.
Qualifications
● Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategy & business operations, managementconsulting, or strategic roles within high-growth environmentsExperience with a leading consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) is strongly desiredFinTech and/or SaaS experience is a plus.● Leadership: Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, build trust, and driveoutcomes in a matrixed organization● Strategic thinking: Strong capability to translate strategic plans into actionable tasks, ensuringproject completion and alignment with business goals● Problem Solving: Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including data-drivendecision making● Communication: Excellent presentation and storytelling abilities, comfortable with facilitatingworkshops and business reviews with executives and teams● Technical Acumen: Understanding of payment systems and money movement (including creditcards) is a plus● SQL skills (i.e. ability to self serve on data needs for ad hoc analyses) are a plus● Education: Undergraduate degree in a technical, math, or science discipline; MBA or advanceddegree preferred.
