Job Overview

The Corporate and Strategic Finance team delivers analysis and solutions to align investments with Intuit's strategies and goals. As Intuit continues its evolution toward a true SaaS platform model, Corporate FP&A is uniquely positioned to analyze growth vectors and investment allocation across the entire company. We are looking to add a team member who can drive analysis and insights to inform and improve decision making across the company. This Principal Financial Analyst is a key team member that will drive multiple processes leading to strategic decisions up to the c-suite level. The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive self-starter, with a deep understanding of financial theory, proven business acumen, strong analytical and modeling skills and hands-on FP&A experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build cases for analysis, framing both the problems to be solved and proposed approaches
  • Gather and analyze internal and external data to unlock key trends and insights
  • Model potential outcomes at the appropriate altitude
  • Identify opportunities to improve resource alignment in service to sustainable growth
  • Prepare and deliver clear, insightful presentations
  • Partner and collaborate across the broader team to accomplish goals

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity or analytics
  • Advanced Excel financial modeling, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to distill storylines from large data sets and create executive level presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and successfully navigate ambiguity
  • Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility
  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Management or equivalent work experience; MBA, CFA preferred
  • Hyperion Essbase and GSuite experience a plus

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $188,500 - 255,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
