Come join Intuit’s Tech for Intuit (T4I) team as a Principal Product Manager - Enterprise Data and Analytics. We are an intensely passionate group with a need for action and an expectation that we all are solving for the E2E experience.
We at T4i are focused on enabling Intuit workers with the right technology focusing on fueling productivity for our workforce and for achieving strategic business outcomes for all our accelerating functions. Data plays a critical role and as a Principal Product Manager you will be responsible to extract critical, untapped and reliable insights from enterprise data.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies for our enterprise data assets focusing primarily on Finance Data. You will champion the delivery of clean and reliable data as a core capability within T4i by centrally managing a data maturity and analytics roadmap. You will also pioneer and advocate for clean data and champion data stewardship programs to power Data Products that allow data users to confidently make business decisions through timely insights. You will partner very closely with Finance technology and business teams, application engineering and data engineers to understand users’ goals and objectives and deliver end to end solutions leveraging the right data technologies tailored for our enterprise needs. By evaluating and integrating complex technologies, you will ensure seamless data processing, enable efficient data integration, and leverage common platform capabilities to create best in-class Finance data solutions. Your expertise in understanding when and where to integrate such technologies will drive innovation and scalability within our data infrastructure that will be cross-utilized in other enterprise functional areas.
Responsibilities
- Establish data management, and data governance principles for Finance Data
- Drive advanced analytics projects including setting up the vision, design, experimentation and deployment using modern AI/ML and Gen AI technologies
- Extract insights from databases using SQL and other query languages to inform product decisions
- Work closely with customers, partners, to take a customer-focused approach to strategy and priorities - passion for the customer
- Use cloud based big data management solutions and services such as S3, Databricks etc.
- You will be empowered to solve hard problems in the emerging area of Data – customer problems and business problems – in ways that our customers (internal & external) love, yet work for our business.
- You will drive execution and delivery by managing dependencies and plans across a wide breadth of different teams.
- While you will be empowered to figure out the best solutions to the problems that need to be solved, you will also be held accountable to the results. Shipping is necessary, but not sufficient. We look for product managers that are not afraid of signing up for results, even when this means they have to work through partners and colleagues across organizational boundaries to achieve the necessary results.
- This is an individual contributor role. You will need to be able to influence your teammates, as well as colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through your use of data and logic.
Qualifications
- Customer-centric Product Management DNA; deep customer empathy and curiosity; 7+ years of industry experience, managing, designing and delivering world-class data solutions in Finance Data and analytics domain.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools, including AI-powered analytics platforms and SQL databases
- Demonstrated ability to define, socialize and implement a multi-year strategy and roadmap for a Finance data portfolio
- Strong facilitation and execution skills, including the ability to define and lead complex projects simultaneously; experience operationalizing product plans and communicating results across all levels of leadership, from senior executives to core team members
- Effective communicator - ability to articulate clear messages to team members, stakeholders, and vendors
- Agility and ability to work in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and engineers
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus
- Bachelor's degree required. Concentration in business, marketing, data science or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $195000 - $264000, Bay Area California $195000 - 264000, Southern California $188500 - 254500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
