Job Overview

Join Intuit’s Futures team as a Principal Product Manager. The Futures team develops and incubates emerging technologies, user experiences, and capabilities that will transform the future of our customers, products, and business. Our work focuses on solving problems for our customers, small businesses and consumers, with technologies such as AI and leading edge fintech. We work with teams across Intuit to influence and contribute to Intuit’s business and strategy. In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibilities from spearheading to launching the next generation of customer experiences and capabilities for our current and future customers. You will be part of a talented multi-disciplined team of designers, engineers, data scientists, product managers, researchers and data analysts incubating trajectory changing experiences and services for Intuit.

Responsibilities

● Collaborate and work across Intuit product teams such as Mailchimp, Credit Karma, TurboTax and QuickBooks and functional groups to understand priorities and identify where emerging technologies can accelerate their innovation for business impact.

● Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for solving customer problems through emerging technologies to power next generation experiences and capabilities.

● From capability’s inception to delivery, take a data driven approach to defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating plan, progress and success.

● Create and maintain momentum, helping your team move forward swiftly and with rigor, a learning mindset, and a bias toward action.

● Encourage a culture of experimentation, learning, and a growth-mindset - innovating on the bleeding edge of what’s possible and shooting for 10x or 100x of the status quo. Not every idea will work out but you will ensure we learn and pivot quickly.

● Anticipate and resolve strategic issues to ensure your team's ability to deliver.

● Be a mentor to other PMs on the team.

Qualifications

 ● 10+ years defining and delivering world-class technology products or services in a Product Management role, 4+ years of these in Product Management at a technology company, working on new or emerging technologies for products with AI/ML at their core, including GenAI.

● Passion for solving big customer problems through deep understanding of customer needs, market landscape and technology trends.

● Creativity and experience thinking outside the box to solve problems 0 - 1.

● Experimental mindset, adept at validating concepts and assumptions through rapid and iterative testing, both qualitatively and quantitatively.

● Strength analyzing industry trends, external threats, and opportunities, and synthesizing information into concise insights and recommendations.

● Strategic thinker as well as tactical executor, continually assessing prospective experiences, capabilities and products for desirability, feasibility and viability.

● Strong business and technical aptitude for understanding when and where to leverage new technologies to innovate on existing products and solving customer problems in new ways.

● Clear and compelling storytelling abilities (written and verbal), able to make the complex simple and convince peers and executives to act.

● A self-starter; adaptable, persuasive, tenacious, decisive and thrives in ambiguity.

● Undergraduate degree in business/economics, computer science, data science or related field. MBA or MS is a plus (equivalent professional experience will be considered).
