Job Overview

As the Principal Product Manager, Industry Solutions for Construction & Field Services, you’ll be at the center of building end-to-end workflow capabilities that serve the needs of the construction & field service industries. You will leverage your understanding of how general and specialty trade contractors operate, which allows you to guide a mission-based and cross-functional team, consisting of leaders in product areas across the company, to build seamlessly integrated capabilities that help our customers transform their business. You will lead the portfolio strategy by articulating which capabilities should be prioritized and why, while focusing on identifying opportunities, building roadmaps, and influencing key internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless, end-to-end customer experiences. You’ll do this by working cross-functionally across teams of data scientists, product managers, engineers, researchers, and designers to define and deliver requirements that achieve product-market-fit and differentiation for Intuit’s industry solutions for construction & field services professionals.

Responsibilities

● Develop and execute impactful product strategies to solve the needs of Construction & Field Service companies that align with business objectives and customer needs● Work closely with Product Marketing and Sales on enabling the sales pipeline for launch, including post launch activation/retention/upsell● Drive results through close partnerships with product teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and cross-business unit partners to deliver customer impact and business objectives● Lead the definition and execution of a product roadmap that supports the delivery of awesome end-to-end, mid-market-ready Construction & Field Service workflow capabilities (e.g. estimating, managing projects,, scheduling & dispatching technicians)● Engage with engineering stakeholders to ensure shared platform technologies are leveraged, and with business stakeholders to ensure all product needs are captured ● Write high quality product requirements and user stories that effectively represent the capabilities we need to build● Leverage deep analysis of customer and product engagement data to understand behavior and performance to identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

● 8+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management role, ideally with a SaaS-based software company focused on serving small business, mid-market, or enterprise customers in the Construction & Field Service industries● Experience defining, owning, and managing a product roadmap● Superior strategic and analytical skills with ability to draw key insights and develop clear recommendations● Data driven, ability to have both the holistic view and the the in-depth understanding required to build a strategy, and to define, operationalize and execute a plan● Experience in matrixed organizations; able to drive results through collaboration and influence.● Passionate about building great products, innovation and solving complex customer problems.● Superior communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to drive fast decisions● A bias for action and rapid experimentation with a proven track record of delivering results at scale that impact critical business metrics in the short and long● Undergraduate degree required in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Science or a related technical discipline (equivalent professional experience will be considered); advanced degree a plus

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $232,500 - $314,500, Colorado $206,500 - $279,000, Bay Area California $236,000 - 319,000, Southern California $213,500 - 288,500, Washington $216,500 - $293,000, Washington D.C. $206,500 - $279,000, Massachusetts $216,500 - $293,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
