Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

People who work for themselves fuel our global economy. In the US, small businesses employ 60% of the workforce and create 80% of new jobs; internationally the stats are even more skewed. But the odds are stacked against them. One of two fails in the first five years, two of three before they can turn ten.

The QuickBooks Online team has recently launched a new business offering, Intuit Enterprise Suite, to fuel the growth of growing MM businesses with more complex needs by becoming their single source of truth for running their businesses and also managing their finances.

We are looking for a customer-obsessed Principal Product Manager with a bold strategic vision, strong accountability and demonstrated excellence in product management execution.

As the Principal Product Manager on this team, you will define and build AI-driven Project Management capabilities and features that will drive customer benefit, growth and long-term differentiation for Intuit. These features will enable Project Based businesses (think Professional Services and Construction companies) to deliver profitable projects on time by having real-time financial data in one place regardless of the app used, and never be caught by the surprise of losing money unexpectedly or a ball being dropped due to manual or complex processes. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team of engineers, data analysts, designers, marketers, customer care, sales and researchers to deliver delightful product experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute impactful product strategies that align with business objectives and customer needs
  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales on enabling the sales pipeline for launch, including post launch activation/retention/upsell
  • Work with Sales and CS on tools needed to enable Sales and care teams to better serve these high value enterprise customers
  • Drive results through close partnerships with core teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and cross-business unit partners to deliver customer impact and business objectives
  • Lead the definition and execution of a product roadmap that supports the delivery of awesome end to end, mid-market-ready Financial Services capabilities (e.g. service delivery, upgrade/downgrade and purchasing flows, onboarding and retention flows, etc)
  • Build and own a quarterly rolling 12-month roadmap to deliver on business objectives
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure technology synergies are understood and leveraged
  • Engage with multiple business stakeholders to ensure all product needs are captured, most importantly across the other scrum teams
  • Write high quality user stories, using an agile approach, that represent a collaborative view on the direction for the technology platform as defined by development managers and architects
  • Leverage deep analysis of customer and site analytics to understand behavior and platform performance, using data to identify opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

  • 8+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management role, ideally with a SaaS based enterprise software company in the fintech space
  • Superior strategic and analytical skills with ability to draw key insights and develop clear recommendations
  • Data driven, have both the holistic view and the capability to execute to build a strategy, and operationalize the plan
  • Experience serving as product owner for a scrum team, managing scrum ceremonies and constantly seeking to educate the team on product strategy and roadmap
  • Passion for building great products, innovation and solving complex customer problems
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical issues simply and convincingly to drive fast decisions
  • Strong data literacy and ability to use data and analytics to back your strategic approach
  • A bias for action and rapid experimentation with a proven track record of delivering results at scale that impact critical business metrics in the short and long
  • Experience in matrixed organizations; ability to drive results through collaboration and influence
  • Undergraduate degree required in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Science or a related technical discipline (equivalent professional experience will be considered); advanced degree a plus
