Job Overview
As a Business Process Architect, you will play an integral role for analyzing, mapping, re-imagining, optimizing, and integrating Gen AI tools while developing ROI models and compelling business cases. You will work with business stakeholders to enhance not only operational efficiency but build a bold future-state vision that involves transformational changes to processes and workflows. The ideal candidate excels in analytical, communication, and leadership skills and possesses a deep understanding of Gen AI technologies. You have a continuous learning mindset and apply disruptive innovation thinking to what may otherwise be well established roles, processes and best practices. This role requires analytical and business acumen and creative vision to streamline workflows and improve decision-making. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to forge a bold vision for future-state processes.
Responsibilities
Current State Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of current business processes, documenting bottlenecks and redundancies.
- Perform time and motion studies to baseline current processes, quantifying time and resource allocations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for a thorough understanding of process dependencies.
Process Mapping, Re-imagination & Optimization:
- Develop detailed process maps illustrating workflows, decision points, and handoffs.
- Develop a bold “what if” strong opinion that disrupts the status-quo
- Apply process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to re-imagine the role(s).
- Identify tasks for automation or enhancement using Gen AI tools.
Gen AI Tooling Identification & Integration:
- Research and evaluate Gen AI technologies to determine their applicability to specific business needs.
- Collaborate with solution architects and segment engineering teams to integrate selected Gen AI tools into existing systems.
- Hands-on exploration of the available tools and technologies.
ROI Analysis & Business Case Development:
- Create detailed ROI models to quantify cost savings and productivity gains.
- Develop compelling business cases to secure funding and buy-in for Gen AI projects.
Research & Use Case Prioritization:
- Stay current with Gen AI technology to identify emerging use cases relevant to the organization.
- Prioritize Gen AI initiatives based on potential impact, feasibility, and alignment with business objectives.
Vision for Future-State Processes:
- Collaborate with solutions architects and segment stakeholders to build a visionary future state leveraging Gen AI technologies.
- Champion strategic objectives aligning with business goals and fostering innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience will in considered.
- 10+ years in business process analysis, improvement, or re-engineering.
- Proven record of successful process improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Gen AI technologies and their business applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $201,000-272,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
